Why is my baby plant growing sideways? please help

Hi every1, first time grower here, i wanted everything togo smooth so i bought all the right stuff i think, i got fox farm soil and nuts, im using a 90 watt ufo. But my baby is almost a week old, she is about 5 inches tall and has nice looking leaves developing, but yesterday i noticed she was starting to lean a little, and i just checked on her and now she on dam near growing sideways, i thought maybe the fan was the cause of this, so i rotated the pot this morning, but it is still leaning more in the same direction. Sorry i have no pics, i am gonna have to definatley buy a good camera soon, but can any1 plzzz tell me what might be going on here?
The first 3 days i had the light about 12" away, but i think she was streching too much for the light because she shot up to about 4 inches in 2 days, so i moved the light down to about 6 inches, but this wouldnt cause the plant to start growing sideways would it? Worst comes to worst, should i stick somthin in there to help support it so it will be standing straight?

It is hard to tell without pics but it sounds like it could be stretching and the stem is not strong enough yet to suport the hight of the plant. Try using tooth pics or something to hold it up.

that was my first thought, but i just dont understand why it continues to lean because i moved the light closer and i turned the pot so that the fan is hitting the opposite side, i have an old camera, ill try and take a pic and hopfully it will be some help

Your plant is telling you the answer. I listen to my plants, I live to make them happy. Closer would a good idea, good luck bro!

I think you're OK. I grow with UFOs also. Remember air movement to avoid weak stems. I took a picture of mine, about same age as yours - planted on 11.3.09 - just this afternoon. I keep my light about 12 inches away - seems to work.
Put the light a bit closer - maybe - although I think this is more lack of air movement. You'll be OK - it'll stretch back up.

Dude that is light stretching for sure a 100%, take care of her she will take care of you.

im listening but i just cant understand what she is saying!!! :lol:

I have looked at several other post about people growing with a ufo and they all keep it about 12" away, idk but i had the light 8 inches away, now its only 4 or 5 inches. So hopefully that will help, i also put a stake in there to straiten out the plant

Man i hope she works out for me, im just growing the 1 plant, its super lemon haze so im stoked :bigjoint:

Oh nice! ! yours are just 2 days older than mine lol i started germinating on the 11-03-09 and planted it 2 days later on the 5th
what strain is yours??? they look alot healthier than mine

This is just an update. I'm very diasappointed at this point. I added a fan yesterday and the ventillation is good. I also added a two foot fluorescent bulb, and here is what disappoints me, the fucking plant is leaning toward the fluoro. This means the UFO is doing hardly anything? I just lowered the ufo, again, today and it is now 3 inches from the plant....that just doent seem right....my UFO fucking fails..

Do you guys thinki should try to get my money back? But if i do that, i will only be able to use cfls, its a long story, but my girlfriend would trip out if i use HPS,

Ill post a picture here so you can kinda see what im talking about with the leaning, oh yeah it might look a little ghetto too cause i used a popsicle stck as a stake to keep her strait. Any suggestions are appreciated, i need all the help i can get here
