well my buds just continue to swell and swell and just when u think thy are done the swell some more...well i had to do it i went crazzy wit some pics lol here u go...

how much u guys think this thing is gonna yeild being that the smaller bud on a quick dry was 2 grams

Not too sure, you'll know once its ready, you could chop her now if you wanted, or wait a couple days but at 9 weeks and a day she's about done.

ight man i was told to wait fa the hairs to recced but they dont look as though they are yet...and the strain says its a 80 day period...dnt think ill reach 80 but idk

so im gonna wait till the soil dries out and give it a flush and then chop her

so after talking with riddleme about his ditty on the calling all noobs thread..pg41.. he talks about starting the fermentation process while the plant is still rooted...by drowing the plants and denying it 02 u start this process...i asked him what will happen if you drown your plants during the 24-36hour dark period be4 the chop...well not to sure the results of this yet...but seeing as the plants fight to survive when the lights are on when the lights are off it might speed the process up...so tonight i am drowning my plant i am going to fill a bucket up with water and sit my plant inside the bucket pot and all...the water will just about cover the where the stump meets the soil...i will be giving it just a day of light and then into the darkness she goes...cant wait to see the results...props to riddle!

well shes in the bucket of water now..will stay like this for a light period then in the dark she shall go!

after about 2hours the water level in the bucket has def. dropped! the smell just after 20mins aplified like crazy...but u can def tell she is drinkin that water up!

2 hours? make sure next run you add perlite or coco's to that soil.. the water shouldn't take more then 10 minutes to drain in well aerated soil.

i wouldnt have reccomended this as it is actually murder.. depriving it o2 wouldnt really do anything at all, it will just kill the roots. and the plant will have sucked up an ass of moisture before the chop.

the reason we use the dark cycle or harvest during lights off is because this is supposedly when the plant has sent all the nutes back into the roots and go to sleep(have u ever noticed plants at night, and no i dont really mean "sleep").
i would much rather let my plant dry out rather than be flooded when im ready to harvest.
