why does this plant have weird leaves?

for the first set of leaves there is 3 on one side and 2 on the other. On the rest of my plants there is just a single leaf on each side.

on one of my babies about 1 week the 2 main fan leaves doesnt remotely resemble a weed leave, what should i do?

??? Pics help but the 1st 2 leaves are round not weed shaped then the 2nd set of leaves will grow perpendicular to the 2 round leavesbut they will more spear shaped until the fans form like this
