why do u add molasses to plants during flower??

thank you guys for all ya q&a. it really is gonna help me in my quest. just a couple of questions though.....1. would the liquid cane sugar do the same thing?? 2.if i use molasses i should use organic nutes?? i think that perty much covers it. lmao. again thanx guys.

got to agree with sirsmokealot i use it in my hydro and dame it was three days of hell cloged my pluming the firsts day and killed alot of the roots that were in the bottom of my res had to flush it all for a day changen the water to get that shit off my roots that survived if its purps that u got growen use the sweetner "grape " it makes it taste even better or cotten candy works good for other strains.....grow on ...grow on........

So would this be an organic technique? I know molasses should be natural, but dont they add other stuff to it?

be careful using any kind of molasses mix in dwc. I have the humboldt nutrients sugar additive "hydro honey", I only add in the last 2-3 weeks with a light dosage as it really seems to gunk up roots a bit. That being said, I noticed a significant difference in resin production with this method and will gunk em up again for the same results up top.

Yeah I think it's for feeding the microbes in the soil not so much for the plant.

so sugar feeds microbes in your root mass? I thought the plant actually used the carbs for resin production but I could be wrong. If the sugar feeds microbes or bennies wouldn't it be just as good to put in bennies and an enzyme to feed them instead of sugar? by enzyme to feed them I think enzymes break down dead material and makes sugar or food for the bennies....Any clarification on these ideas is appreciated
