Yeah I think it's for feeding the microbes in the soil not so much for the plant.First & last additive used during entire grow is molasses. It accelerates the microbes to help cover roots with pest fighting attacks, and the plant loves it, plus helps to breakdown nutes for better, balanced feeding. Chems kill this effect.
so sugar feeds microbes in your root mass? I thought the plant actually used the carbs for resin production but I could be wrong. If the sugar feeds microbes or bennies wouldn't it be just as good to put in bennies and an enzyme to feed them instead of sugar? by enzyme to feed them I think enzymes break down dead material and makes sugar or food for the bennies....Any clarification on these ideas is appreciatedYeah I think it's for feeding the microbes in the soil not so much for the plant.
