Why Do Girlfriends Make It So Hard To Grow Herb?

something i noticed, OP never said the werman in question actually opposed the grow, just that they argued loudly and this was a problem. is that what you guys argue about?

also before you dudes run out and marry the first chick you find that loves growing weed, be aware that one shred of logic doesnt mean they are a sane creature.

mine has her own photo collection of my grow, but still runs around like a damn ho the minute i turn my back. love her anyway though. crazy bitch.

ooo ooo, speaking of stuff i don't really understand:
my man's really into paintball. he needs a new gun, and the one he's been eyeing is around $400.
i'd like to get it for him for his bday, but here's the thing: i'm a SAHM with a sporadic supplemental income, he's the breadwinner. if i don't save enough in time, i'm going to have to spend some of the household money too(ie. that he earned most of), maybe 100 or 150 of the 400.
i think it's kind of weird to spend somebody's money on their own bday present, but i've never been The Breadwinner, so i don't know how he'd feel about that. he works hard to provide for us, and if that's the one he wants, i think he more than deserves it. but then, it's all his money anyway, if he really wanted one he'd've gotten it for himself by now? maybe? so idk. what i DON'T want to do is get him a cheaper one that IS within my budget; i know the one he's looking at is THE ONE and he's pretty picky when it comes to toys.
oh and it's getting to be the season and he upfucked his last gun his last time out.

so.... should i or shouldn't i?

I say get it for him, and dont tell him you had to dip into family savings if it's a tad too much. Scrape by for the next few months cutting out stuff you can do without until that money you borrowed from him to buy his bday present is back. I love when my lady surprises me with stuff I really want. Sometimes I want things but just don't think it's a smart purchase until my lady convinces me that I deserve it

i don't know i think you gotta make that call, maybe go pawn something so you don't have to dip in his money? not trying to imply anything thats just what i'd do if i was short and needed to get the wife a present.

well look at it this way at the worst you are spending a buck fifty on his gun, are you economically well enough that he would just buy the gun if it cost that?

and rare it is that a push in the right direction means towards a pawn shop... its a happy day for pawn shops everywhere.

heres some pawn shop 101 if you arent accustomed to their shennanigans... find out what everything you have is worth, not when you got it but what its worth now. they arent going to give you more than a third of that and thats lucky, itll prob be more like 1/4. dont bring them a tv unless its flat screen. they dont want your old clothes. and remember your poker face, act like you are in there half for the fun of it and half to see if they want your shit and when they ask you what you want for something you need to answer confidently. and not with some ridiculous high number.

Get it!:smile::smile: I smiled the entire time while reading this. How thoughtful, even if you can't come up with the entire amount on your own. Chances are he needs a new one anyway since he "upfucked" his gun. Get it, he needs a new one.

it's some kind of full-auto comes-with-all-the-bells-and-whistles madness, so yes. YES.

i gotta say, though, this is probably the universe taking pity on him, not me. that way i get to keep all my karma points. ;)

Took all my plants to the outside spot far away from my somewhat bipolar gf . Was kinda bummed that I had 3 males with my girls so now I'm gonna have some seeds. Oh well ... My gf told me the other day how much she appreciates everything I do for our family and how I'm such a great guy. I'm hoping she will keep a positive mind on our situation even though we don't have plants anymore I still would like to keep the scene peaceful so my kids don't have to grow up around domestic violence. I have a good selection of seeds and access to some killer cuttings but I'm gonna take a break to work on the relationship and family. Guess its back to buying herb off the street again. Oh well that's life.
