Why AzCS might not be all about compassion......

Your'e all wrong. CEO has already said on forums and his Facebook. They make ZERO money and their books are open for any patient in their collective to come in and bring an accountant to go through.

So maybe someone should once and for all do that and see if there is indeed lying going on or not. I have a feeling they probably are profitable and would never in a million years let you see their books. I'm also ok with that and think everyone has the right to make money should they have the capitalistic mentality to do so.

If you don' like AZCS, don't deal with them. Don't want to support them? Don't buy meds from them. But to purposely bash them on the internet for no other reason other than you don't like how they accept money from patients who have money and want the product they provide, well that's just HATERISM.

Just for the record. I'm lukewarm on Bill. I've tried to deal with him in the past and he never follows through. My only .02 cents on that. I assure you i'm not connected with them at all.

It giht surprise you but chances are few centers are in iat for the compassion. Medical marijuana is a money game, little more. Hell,. i'd go as far as to say calling it medical marijuana is just a big lie, the whole thing is one big money making scam. Medical, lol, maybe for 1% of folk or somesuch.

If you don't like em, don't use em... They are a business, if they amke money charging as they do then they are making money charging as they do. The end.

go buy from Lucius instead.... pay his light bill and NOT azcs's.......

if i had to choose.... id say LV all the way ..fuck Azcs and there for profit model.....thats doesnt make any profit.....

Who cares if he cooks his books, i'd cook mine if it meant screwing the governement out of some tax money :D

Just remember, your point about him defending his business like he is, well it could be flipped around and seen the other way, you slagging off his business with a vengeance and recommending others, one could state that you are in this for a reason trying to drunk up interest for someone else's/your company. You'd have thought that anyone with no vested interests would have made the thread and walked off, message sent, but instead you've taken it to 3 pages, so i'd certainly wonder whether yours is a purely innocent involvement.

My motivs are pure...i dont sell, i dont make any money off growing or selling etc. I have hooked up a few bags in my life true, i will probably get rid of a few zips form this grow as well....bu ti live FAR away from Azcs, as in across the state, but my mother went there and felt pressured n almost everything she was told was a lie....she asked if they grew there own meds.....they said yes: which is a HUGE lie.

il not go into the other because Azcs ceo is ALREADY banned for attempting to sell on this site..a big no no. Its ok for individual PATIENTS to hook up other patients, but you cant come here and try to drum up sales for your rip off business. Everyone on Riu that has a brain sees right through azcs bill and his bullshit. That is why i L:OVE this site, its a azcs free and rip off free zone.!!!!!

That swhy i want to mod this section, to keep out the riff raff, and keep Az mmj as honest as possible. Anyone that come on this section and makes a few friends will have plenty of options as to how they get the meds.......we dont need for-profit people here trying to make a quick buck.
Plus azcs will be shut down by the DEA soon, and we dont want OUR site on there radar anymore than it is already.....

good riddance Azcs

I think his motives are pure. Just liek the dispensary companies in Cali that got shut down.. Why you ask?? Because they were selling meds at high prices in a "not for profit business" $400.00 an ounce ???? Sure they show no profits on the books but hey lets just keep increasing our salary all the way into the millions instead of lowering the prices meds.. Sure go ahead and step on the toes of the FEDS...

I'm still waiting for somebody else to open a brick and mortar store and offer their meds for less. Sure, street level dealers can provide medication at a lower price. Overhead is the $5 box at Taco Bell and a few gallons of gas in their civic.

All this hater-aid makes me laugh, if its such a fucked up business model, then make something better. When you have built a better foundation you can come to our own forums and I will be the first to bow down.

Sorry that my first post here had to be one in response to such bullshit. I've followed alot of threads on RIU anonymously for years, its a great community and there are many kudos deserved of its members.

PS if anyone wants to come visit me in person I will go over our entire membership agreement word for word with you... theres no smoke and mirrors here.. I am at the el mirage shop almost daily. You can find the address online.

And people pay so it's obviously not bullshit to everyone else. There will ALWAYS be people who do not like a companies prices, you could sit here bashing on against these folk saying that the prices are not right, it should be $200 or whatnot, i could start up an identical thread to this calling out you repetitively for being bullshit and whatnot. If people pay people pay, that's really about as far as it needs go, if you odn't like em, don't use em.

You could start as many threads as you want about me. I'm not here to help close down any compassion clubs just letting people new to MMJ community know that there are other alternatives. I don't use them and wont use them but in the MMJ community I hear a lot of complaints about the pricing of meds in the MMJ community.. Do I speak for everyone?? NO.

Profit - A financial benefit that is realized when the amount of revenue gained from a business activity exceeds the expenses. Simple and straight to the point.

I think most of the confusion about non-profits is the assumption that they make no money. A non profit can bring in a TON of money, it just needs to use that money to improve the business, life of employees, or the community around it.

Being a non profit, you can make a profit, it just has to be injected into the business or the community.....not into the CEO's or board of directors' pockets. In a for profit, that owner or CEO just gets to take all the extra money, if they decide to.

One of the stinks about a true non-profit is that the CEO's can choose to pay themselves a very high salary, but that also draws the eyes of the feds......there are very specific rules and paperwork for non-profits, so they have to be very careful to run a ship with integrity. We just do not have enough regulation checking up on these things.

Yeah we know that its just once the laws are passed it's no longer about the patient we saw that with the hit the dispensaries in Cali just took they never lowered their price of their meds and got hit hard by the FEDS for jumping through loop holes.

i am glad that you budgeted in resource for you to post here on RIU. i am a caregiver and i have learned a lot of what i know from this website. i guess i should be assigning the cost of my internet bill, the cost of my computer, and the cost of the hours i spend on here learning how to grow better medicine. that would be fair :roll:to pass that cost onto my patients right?

I've spent the last year of my life volunteering for azcs, all of this is public knowledge, and is posted in multiple locations on the web... So as far as "budgeting a resource" I'm on my own time right now.. actually I'm working my OTHER job that actually pays me so I can keep my family afloat... your sarcasm doesn't even phase me.

As far as you being a caregiver, I think that's awesome... I nor "AZCS" has any problem with caregivers. We actually have a spot on our site specifically for caregivers to get rid of excess meds. You also have to keep a growlog (to prove legitimacy). To many people's surprise we are about as anti-25 mile rule as one can get.

can you post some pics of azcs's grow to show their legitimacy. with the clout and resources which are at your disposal, what are you (azcs) trying to do to get rid of the 25-mile rule and how can patients and caregivers get involved?

You are welcome to check out many of our grows on our own forums. As far as having resources at our disposal, I'm not sure what you've missed, but there is no millions of dollars being made at our facilities. We've said before that we will eventually hire a lobbyist with the intent of removing Cannabis from the Schedule I list, but those type of funds are going to take some time. Much more time now than was originally intended (when they WERE allowing dispensaries).

again what is your patient collective doing to ensure that patients and caregivers will be able to grow? once dispensaries open your patient collective will no longer be able to cultivate. what are you doing to insulate from this risk? or do you not care because you plan on becoming a dispensary when they are allowed?

To be honest I'm not really sure.. I guess we will have to cross that road when we come to it. But I am sure that we will find a legal way to get medication into the hands of our patients.
