Why are my sugar leaves turning colors?

Over the last couple of days (it has been hot) I noticed the sugar leaves on my tallest cola starting to turn a purplish brown.... Is this normal?

Man, I gotta say that looks like a happy plant. Sometimes the purple can mean a P deficiency, however it generally doesn't start at the top.

What strain? Maybe that's just a beautiful characteristic of a certain pheno...

Just my 2cents.

It looks like it's just genetics. Nothing wrong.

Purple is not a sign of phos deficiency. If it's purple blotchy that's a sign of molybdenum deficiency usually caused by light bleaching (light too close) and / or being rootbound.

Phos defs - the ends of the leaves will turn brown and crispy.
