The survivor Renato Hughes was by law charged with his accomplices murders,he ended up beating that though and is doing 6 years for burglary and assault charges. The shooter/homeowner Shannon Edmunds walked free,as he should have....

exactly what i thought should happen, too bad they didnt say that part on national television.. lol or did i just miss that part.

wouldnt it of been great if the shooter/homeowner sued the hell out of the remaining Renato Hughes and won$$$$$$ so when he got out of prison he would be a bigger piece of shit than ever and in debt for whatever amount sued for.

In that news program the female reporter interviews a grower in Mendinco co. Ca who growing 15 or 20, 8 foot trees out of the ground in his back yard. does any one know the genetics of those plants?

I for one never watch anything on PMSNBC but if the plants were that tall it would be a very safe bet to place to say that they were a pure landrace sativa.

Way back in the past when I grew outdoors I had plants close to being that tall and I had friends who had plants that were that tall or taller and in each case they were pure landrace sativa genetics.

I felt like that guy didn't represent growers very well. It seemed to me like he was so focused on the fact he was in Mendo, and not making the point that growing for medicinal/recreational use should be "legal" every where. It seemed he was saying that growers in Mendo are just offspring of a bunch of hippies from San Fransisco. I think he had a chance to represent growers in a different light, and failed.

Although I know EDITING is a magical thing for television producers, so they get the point THEY are trying to make across. Versus the person actually making the point.:fire:

:?:What did you guys and gals think about the "mexican mafia" forcing people to guerilla grow? Do you think it is true?Anyone from Cali hear stories like this before?

I just recently saw this program. The way something like that goes is that they probably talked to the guy for hours asking lots of questions. The editors do their statist magic.

They just want to leave it at violence being associated with marijuana, even though there will be thieves trying to steal anything valuable, and some will use violence.

It is the same with the "Mexican connection" that they brought up. They are using the fear some people have of Mexicans as a reason to be against a plant. The idea of the violent gangs fighting the wars in Mexico planting gardens in Northern California is silly. The violence in Mexico is for moving drugs north over the US border. The more that is produced north of the border, the less violence there has to be. - Of course we could just allow free trade in whatever.

I've watched this show 3 times now and each time I see it, that chick pisses me off more and more. She really was not bias, she had her own little ways of wording her questions to make even the medical parts seem less important then the whole show should have been . but I must say it didn"t look to good to have those kids in the front of the cafe in San Fransico while their parent was in the back picking up some smoke.
And the Mayor, big puff of wind, what a load of shit!! Mendocino would be in real bad shape without the growers and the monies they bring in and the business they support. The whole slant on the story should have been about how it is helping people who are just trying to get thought one day at a time with as little pain as can be handled.
