Who's using General Organics

Was just talking to my organic buddy (who has made me switch to organics). He says he's currently using Age Old and likes it so far, but he says the GH Bio line would be good as well.

I have used GH in the past with coco and loved the results, only switched to be more "pure".

If you are using or used it what do you think about. I plan to run it in coco. How would you ph the organics.

Mix a little lime in with your coco. It will help buffer the pH and keep it neutral. When trying to pH your solutions I would use citric acid for down and potassium bi-carbonate for up. Earth Juice sells a natural pH up and down that contain these.

So you just added the lime to the coco while mixing it up before adding plants? Would you think oyster powder would work the same way (I have lots of it).

Is the Earth Juice the powdered kind. I think I have some down, but haven't had to use it at all this grow, being my first organic grow and the oyster has worked.

I have it and use it on my plants. I don't have any experience using it with coco though, I use it with soil peat compost mixes. Works great for that, no ph monitoring with organics, generally a healthy soil mix will take care of that.

I also have it but also have no experience using it in coco.

Just a side note, you probably only need one of them (like only the down) test your water source and if its always higher than you want than you probably don't need to buy the up.

That's what I figure. I have only ever had to buy PH Down. I'm curious if I could use peat the same as I would coco. I just have more experience with coco and GH Trio

I don't think you can use the organic line with coco only because there's no microbes to breakdown any of the liquid nutrients you're feeding it. It's different than the nutrients used in the GH line which has no particles and stuff, which is why the GH trio is good for hydro systems because they won't clog the lines.

So would I have to use peat as a inert medium? Using it in a drip system DTW ?
