So the wiring is covered but there does not appear to be a coating over LEDs. Not sure what it takes to get certified as suitable for damp environments.

I never ever had any problem with mars personally there service was great,I had afew of there lights years just gave two to me dad.He wanting to produce bud for oil,so rather than have the collecting dust I gave em him .He's got cannatonic under em now.I never had no problems with moisture with lights either ,i had a cob of them that i still do autos under for the time been.I never done more than 6 oz 4 oz of real nice quality bud 2 oz of nice buds .But not stuff I would sell on.I put it with the sugar leaf and it goes to oil. I'm using spiderfarms sf1000s now and I'm well impressed ,but that don't mean I'm gonna put mars down ,they always sorted any problems I had service was great tbh

You guys keep saying it’s a fire hazard, but there isn’t one report of these lights actually catching on fire, I feel you people are just talking out of your ass.

Actually the conversation ended 3 weeks ago short one person saying what model. The nube is the one that said people are talking out of their ass, pretty ignorant first post. How does he know it has never happened? The answer is he doesn't. Did he ask those who made the claim for any proof, no, just told them they are talking out of their ass. Making the claim that you know it never happened is talking out your ass since it is impossible to say that with certainly.

As for providing proof it happened, I will leave that to those who made the claim. I never did so I wont say it happened but also wont claim it didn't. I tend to only make claims I can back up.

So then where are the stories of Mars lights catching fire? I did a quick google search and came up with nada.

The simple fact is both sides made claims and neither can back them up as far as I have seen. Nobody can say one of their lights has never caught fire so why make your first post so ignorant to people. I have no problem with him calling.people out asking for proof but since he cant prove his position either he is also talking out his ass. You cant call out baseless statements with another baseless statement.
