So week two I am normally very slowly like everyday removing about 5 leaves that open up light for lower nodes don't go too crazy they need some of those leaves but once you hit middle of week four hit em hard I normally take every leaf with a stem that is below the 3rd-4tf fan leaf of each main stalk defanning smaller side branches of all big fan leaves except top. I've seen differences in defanning it does help with yield and also solving problems when u have more air flow more light penetrating the less likely u are to have pm or bud rot and make it easy to find any bugs at all cuz your can see everything
