Dont buy weed anywhere other than the leidesplein area as you will get ripped off, especially in the red light district. Go to ROOKIES, best cafe in Dam. Was at the cup last year, wont be there this year... bon voyage.

5 of us growers in my area have our own cup every year. Its a ton of fun. No need for a long flight. Plenty of amazing weed, good food and great friends. We hand out samples to the all the party goers and have them fill out ballots to see who the winner is. Last time I had the local bakery do a cake for us. You should have seen the look on the face of the lady when I told her I wanted it to say Cannabis Cup 2008 with a big pot leaf on it lol.

I'm the only one who grows out of my pothead friends haha.

I plan on going to next years Cannibus Cup! The plane ticket + 3 night stay in Adam costs about 1,200$ for me....

I havent been but I can only imagine its gotten very commercial. I have read a few articles with people complaining about the entire thing.
