Yo, looking for a good easy strain of blueberry. If you've grown it, I want to know how it grew for you and where you got the beans.

+ reps for good info.

thats a tough question to ask.i wish i had grown enough of them out to tell who has the best. ive tried DNAs kushberry. and its damn good. but thats the only blue berry type strain i can testify to. i used to smoke a blue berry at one time i used to buy that was fire. but i have no idea whos version of blue berry it was. alot of people say DJ shorts has the best blue berry . good luck

I was leaning towards the version http://marijuana-seeds.nl sells for $53 since I've had otherwise good luck with their genetics, but open to new genes.

Agreed...I hear the best things about DJ Short's blueberry.

Have you guys grown it? That's what I'm looking for is firsthand accounts.

ive still got a Dutch Passion blueberry bean that I think Im gonna pop for my fall grow.Ive heard that the DP Blueberry really has all the characteristics like blue-ish colors, pungent blueberry smell, and purple blueish leaves towards the end of flower, and a PHENOMENAL potency. But, DP's will go hermie in the last weeks of flower almost 60 percent of the time. DJ Shorts, Ive heard, is the more stable strain but DP is has more of the characteristics of blueberrys.

I've got DPassion Blueberry in my grow journal here currently, check it out(week 5 flower). I'm going to try JoeyWeeds BB next time, or maybe DJ($$$), but haven't smoked these yet so can't really say. It's a must top, you'll see in my grow, not a big yielder, it is nute sensitive somewhat, and since it has Thai in it, it can hermy. IMO Dutch Passion is usually mediocre. Did really like one plant of 10 each of Strawberry and Mazar, the rest were, well, mediocre.

This is exactly what I was looking for thank you, and I've grown stuff from Dutch Passion, and it turned hermie too, so I'll probably avoid their beans.

Sounds like you've grown their blueberry, I think the decision is obvious.

Did it herm out at all or freak out when you nute it?

I can't help but wonder if the people who complain about plants "going hermie" are starting from "feminized seeds"?

If so, where's the mystery? I have grown pure Thai plants that did not flower for over one year and then of course, they started to flower here and there at different times which is normal. If you let just about any plant go long enough it will try to regenerate itself by "going hermie". Survival strategy. No mystery.

Btw, Flowering means budding, not yellow male flowers.

I personally have never grown feminized seeds, but anytime you've got unrefined, weak genetics, having something go herm is quite normal.

I've also never had to bud a plant for a year. Vegging a plant for a year and then budding it is not really a common practice among growers.

no hermie, dj's blue line is more bud, with less leaf. the whole structure of the nug formation is all big bulb calyxs like a kush

it can take nutes, but test the girl before you give it a full dosage of your nutes, because with all blueberries, gotta be very careful.

Thats a hell of a sale. I haven't been on that site in quite a while but their prices are a lot cheaper than they use to be. I bought my BB seeds from there a couple of years ago for 195 US. They were their priciest seeds at the time.

Mine is very very nute sensitive. It actually does better with straight up water most of the time. Has a wonderfully pleasant strong smell, hashy taste and a strong indica high. I found the high to be very close to the description in the seedbank. Its a low yielder but the smell, taste and high keep it in my garden

dutch passion BB sucks my balls...sorry dutch but damn! over a four year period BB seeds were ordered twice...reg seeds...all of the females hermied both times!! WTF?! oh and they also stole BB from DJ short...sooo they only answer here is DJ short...

I've come to the unconfirmed conclusion that marijuanaseedsnl is selling Dutch Passion's version of BB, based on the written description and photo. So probably not going to buy that one as I'll soon be agreeing with soilprovider.

Go with the blue cheese very smelly sweet blueberry smell and taste.
Who's blue cheese did you grow?

I"m with you on that bro, Dutch Passion sucks, notorious for going hermie, I can attest to that firsthand.

DJ Short's beans are just a bit too expensive for me, I know you get what you pay for (sometimes), but $100 is my max I'll spend for a 10pack.

If you're stuck on blueberry than dj short is probably your best bet, however the strain isnt all that its hyped up to be.
