whos behind the federal raids in the bay?

im interested on what other people think of this. this video is on the main page at mpp.org. just days after obama says NO MORE FEDERAL RAIDS ON MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARYS, the feds go and pull a smash and grab on a shop known to give out free weed to poor patients in the soma district of san fransisco. no arrests, just a smash and grab opp. my thoughts... the republicans way of pissing on obama? the feds are the real pushers and they are still trying to stop the compitetion?? whats going on here, who else is puzzled by this?????

had you considered that maybe obama is full of shit

the official story is, from now on they will only be busting people who violate state laws as well. Although they never mentioned what state laws the co op you speak of had broken. And if it was state laws that were broken, why didnt the local police handle it, why did the DEA have to come into play....its bullshit.

i have a thread in "toke n talk".. its called "only the worlds best con artists are able to become president"... not even 2 months into his term he has contradicted himself already on the drug policy. so yea, i dont THINK he's full of it, i KNOW he's full of it. good call my friend.. but i strongly believe there is more to the raids than obamas lip flappin he gave us prior to the election. DEA rogues? Republicans? this is a historical time for us here in cali. and i cant wait until the entire nation is able to enjoy the legalitys of medical marijuana.

bullshit indeed. please, take 2 minutes to watch the video on the top of mpp.org's page on the raid if you have not already. this collective was operating in complete compliance (so their lawyers say) and was known to give free weed to poor patients.

also, local police dont want anything to do with this mess, they stay out of it and collect their cut. have your heard of the case in santa cruz, where the sherif actually testified FOR a patient against the FEDS!! the local police would be repremanded and jobs would be lost if they got involved in this, thats fer sure
