Whole plant hung, what now?

Cut and hung my 2 plants whole, only removed a few lower, almost dead fan leaves. Shooting for the 10-14 day window, should I cut any of the fan leaves off during the process? or keep them on for the whole dry, then trim and jar em up?

planning on jarring once small buds basically fall off the plant, and the smaller stems snap ..is this a good gauge?

Anyone? Picture above is about the 16 hour mark, was thinking about chopping fans off after a few days? drying in a box with open top and face, I have a carbon filter/fan combo above the box to draw air up ,and I have a small fan pointing at the open face of the box barely moving air on the bottom below the hanging top colas

should I let the whole plant go til the buds seem ready to jar?

I seen a video with the jungle boys and berner him self they both agreed on having the room 60 degrees and 60 percent humidity they said that’s perfect I forgot how many days tho

O yeah they said hang the whole plant and I guess dry trim

i trim what i can like the big leaves, hang and then once its good, go to town

55-57 and the temp has been 73-75 ..I know it’s a little warmer than what’s preferred but it’s a micro box in a closet not much I can do, that’s why I hung whole plant to extend the drying period a little bit

top colas are starting to feel crispy on the outsides but def have moisture inside still cause they’re super sticky, my stems are all still pliable

i plan on waiting til the small/medium sized stems start to crack and then it’s time for jars ..I got hygrometers so I’ll pay close attention to the humidity the first few days, I’m so paranoid about drying it too long I’ll burp extra if I need to

I wouldn't stress over it. I would rather over dry than under dry. I always say my best buds are the ones I find on the floor 2-3 weeks later.

care to share your routine? How many days do you dry and what are your conditions?

Keep an eye on that, its really easy to accidentally quick dry the bottom of a hanging plant this way and it doesn't take much.

thanks, I lessened the flow a few days ago I think my filter/fan is moving plenty of air
