Hi all

I've got 2 plants about 4 1/2 weeks into flowering and one has been, shall we say a little difficult. About 2 weeks ago it was very droopy and I'm not really sure what caused it but luckily it has perked up in the last week or so. The only things I can see wrong with it now is the whole plant looks a little light in colour and in the last few days I've noticed that one of the fan leaves has a darkish purple colour on the end of the leaf. Since it's only on one leaf at the moment I'd like to find out what the problem is before it spreads and (excuse the pun.....) nip it in the bud

Any thoughts and ideas welcomed !!

Thanks

lol great title to get people to come lookin! i wanna say you had a large drop in temp recently but we dont have temps from you yet. hex might be on to needing more bloom nutes. a phosphorus issue can lead to purpling as well.

Thanks for the reply..........

The temps probably have dropped a bit recently cause it's been CHILLY in the UK but thankfully its starting to warm up soon !!! I'm using Biobizz grow and bloom and I'm going to up the dose and see what happens, I've read that it's hard to nute burn them with organic nutes

are you growing in dirt?? phosphorus deficiency is purple in the stems.. the leaves will also turn very dark green.. do you have red or purple in the stems anywhere? when you water your pots how much run off is there?? do you have holes in the bottom of your buckets?

I'm growing in soil, and cold wet soil is a strong possibility cause it's been really cold here lately and I've been struggling to keep the temps up during lights out. I have noticed some purple on the stem but the leaves are not dark green they are a light green and the bottom 2 or 3 fan leaves turned REALLY yellow and died. Like I said in the first post this plant looked really not happy a few weeks ago and I thought it was the beginning of the end for her so I'm just happy she has perked up so I would hate for this "deficiency" to finish her off if it was a case of doing something simple that could of saved her !!!

Thanks again for the help and info

Im going with phosphorous. My complete lack of experience and abundance of reference material lead me to this conclusion.
