I'm vented...just a question. If scientific parameters are set on discussions held in ss&p, should non-scientific parameters be set on science & tech subforum discussions?

Which parameters are you speaking of?...just a question. If scientific parameters are set on discussions held in ss&p, should non-scientific parameters be set on science & tech subforum discussions?
...the problem is with 'feeling'. There is a level of awareness that is not for typical discussion. It's a feeling, and it is described in the same way in psychological textbooks. It gets to be 'beyond' scrutiny because no one can explain it. I realize this is a point of contention for those with harder scientific minds, but 'it' does seem to be a reality. The modern mind has difficulty admitting that it is not the 'point' of the stack, or spiral, or whatever.I'm vented

fuck the system!...i realize that harsh scrutiny in the field is necessary, but i wonder how many of us are partaking in a particular (hard copy) scientific endeavor? We need a speak easy thread and fck the rules
...aaaaand, i just realized that the metaphysics thread already 'exists'

No need to kiss ass. Most forums dislike public complaints about mods. Most are volunteers merely trying to keep some semblance of order. Every site has their own level of how much crap slinging will go one but if you have a problem with a moderation decision, the appropriate response is PM the administrators who oversee the mods and they will review your complaint and deal with a bad decision or if like this instance, try to explain what you seem to not understand.maybe if youkiss-assthey will give you your wish

Not a single person has agreed with anything you said here. There is no purpose for this thread except to waste space and rant at people that are trying to help give back to the site, and generally act fairly and do a pretty decent job of remaining non-partial. You are imagining that someone was slighted. This thread is based on you misconception and you have been given all of the explanation you need.
Very Reasonable.I am the one who closed his threads, and each time I pointed out that discussion of the topic is welcome and should be done in existing threads. In a world where any of you can buy a server and then install and host your own forums, your speech has hardly been limited. Also curious that you would arbitrarily decide that the thread was closed due to the word "love". If I closed every thread that talked about love i'd never get anything else done.
Incidentally, the reason the threads were closed, and not deleted, is because some people had responded and I didn't want to delete their words along with the spam.
Are you certain? cnthe name tells all
If we embrace the idea that both are humanities, the distinction evaporates. cn...just a question. If scientific parameters are set on discussions held in ss&p, should non-scientific parameters be set on science & tech subforum discussions?
A suggestion: before complaining to admin (who are busier than the proverbial one-armed paperhanger) one might PM the mod in question. Next level: another subsection mod (we're listed on our subforum's topics page at the bottom) and perhaps then a global, e.g. chiceh or sunni. Often these folks have the time and the inclination to sort things out. cnNo need to kiss ass. Most forums dislike public complaints about mods.
