mayve try a that pvc glue give it a clean apply it and lt her go...i think thats the only way u are goin to get it to seal

I just got my first clone put it under a single cfl clamp cone and it seems to be doing good. I've had the light on 24 hours a day is this a good idea? I bought the clone from the cannabis club about 5 days ago so in guessing its just under 3 weeks old. How much should I water it and what's the best light cycle for me?

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to help those of us just starting out. got a couple of questions, but here's a breakdown of my setup thus far for reference I'm doing a rubbermaid grow for stealth etc. two 42 gal rubbermaids stacked one on top of the other, bottom/top cut out, spray painted with two layers of black (for light leakage) and last layer with white to reflect but not heat up like mylar would. light-wise i've got 6 48 watt cfl's mounted about 3 inches from the plants. i'm only growing two plants, so correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that should be enough for only two. they've both popped and we're on about day 5 now. growin mangos from nirvana btw. for smell i've got a passive intake cut into bottom right corner of bottom rubbermaid with 2 pc fans pulling air through 2 diy carbon filters at 80 cfm. as for medium, i'm using miracle grow potting mix which says it has food for 3 months and perlite in it.


alright, now here's questions:

1. does the white spray paint reflect enough for the plant to utilize any lost lumens or should i put some mylar in?

2. will the pc fans with carbon filters provide enough air circulation? also, will two diy carbon filters these-> The BEST DIY EZ walmart carbon filter for MICRO grows Zen style. get rid of the smell from two flowering mangos?

3. do i need more lights?

4. what ph should i set the distilled water to with the miracle grow potting mix? i read the potting mix is 5.1 in smb's grow 8 ounces for under $100...

5. what should i use for nutrients for vegging? flowering? does the miracle grow "food for 3 months" matter or should i find something else asap?
If possible I'd like to avoid ordering some fox farm. Anything from lowes or Walmart?

id go a 18/6...they like the dark period...and eventually one cfl not goin cut it....and water when the top inch or two gets dry and until u see a slight run off...we dont have clones that u can go out and buy here but im starting to sell them...if u dont mind me askin how would a clone go for>? like a high grade clone

I really need help with mine. I just started on my white widows. I started out with 5 seeds 4 days ago. It sprouted and produce 2 outer leaves, but 2 of them, their stems have fallen to the side. Is it normal? If it isn't, how do i fix it without damaging the plant? I am kind of panicking right now. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've been vegging for three weeks and new leaves started curling up like ram horns, what could it be???? using house and garden as directed ppm is 700 ph 5.8

Hi, Iam 5 weeks into flowering and I have noticed some of the fan leaves veins are turning brown.? Is this normaly at this stage or do I have problem growth seems to have slowed down in the fifth week.Also some leaves turning yellow and falling off

hey guys, so im trying to build a cloner, im trying to do a DCW style....first off, is this gunna work??....if yes then here are the questions I have....

1) Do I stick the clone stems deep enough so that they are immersed in the water?

2) Do I mix the rooting gel directly in the water or just on the clone stems?

3) After growing roots hydroponically I can transplant to soil right??

Ok here goes nothing, I have been a smoker for years never thought about growing. My wife threw some seeds in a pot on the back porch and they grew. We found the difference in a male and female and separated them but being DAs we left them in small pots. Well the damn things grew but they are not very big. They do have buds that have the little THC (i think) on them I have been trying to figure when to harvest my 1/2 oz (maybe). But my question is how do I quick dry a bud to try? If i can figure out how to post a picture I will but it will be embaressing seeing all the Great buds here. Any help would on a dry bud will be great thanks.

Hey Dude, so the best way that I have found is in the toaster oven, on the lowest setting...typically it takes 1-4 hours depending on the size of the bud, in your case I would check it every so often...i do this all the time when i run out....if you have electric baseboard heating, sitting it on top of the heater works great too. You Wanna dry it but with as minimal heat as possible so that you don't kill all the TCH on the bud......but if you can wait a week or two.....hang it in a dark place, that is the best way to dry....if you got another week or two, than stick it in a jam jar to cure, be sure to pop it periodically to let the moisture out. Hope this helps!!!

Check the pics in the first post, this should help.....typically the fan leaves (biggest leaves) start to fall off naturally when the plant is in its final cycle...

i acquired this lovely lady from a friend of a friend and its been budding for about 3 weeks now. today i notice some tiny black and reddish moving dots. i dont have a mag glass right now so this is the best way i can describe them. i've also noticed a rise in the amount of flying aphids in the grow room. im really hopin this isn't too serious cuz its so pretty. also the stalk turned reddish purple over the last couple days. i gave it a very very low dose of some nutes that my friend gave me. i'm more versed in hydro growing and have just been giving it Ph balanced water since i got it a couple months ago. any advice is appreciated
