Hi, I am currently new to growing and I just bought a 0.9m x 0.45m x1.6m grow tent along with a 250W HPS in cooltube and a carbon filter. I was wondering which fan/cfm would be best with this setup for intake and outtake.
It is all about controlling the temp, so what you do is set it up without fans and record the temps in your tent then chose a fan that will lower the temps to where you want it to be the attached pic will give you a guide for doing this

i put in a a/c to cool down the temps in my room... if put it on cool instead of fan will this also help correct the humidity?

another thing about the a/c...will it bring in fresh co2? also when there is high heat does that mean there is high humidity or does the temp have nothing to do with it?

No, it will not bring in or produce CO2, a/c units recirculate existing air

humidity affects the way we "feel" the temps but other than that they are not related

temp being the temp of the air (ambient) and of objects (radiant)

humidity being the amount of moisture in the air

havent got it yet, i was waitin for your suggestions before i went shopn, but they dont sell fox farm anywhere near me, so i was just going to look for something that doesnt have any slow release crap in it. what should the soil have? actually, guy at the feed store said he could get me some, so i may jus put in the order n wait til he gets it... unless theres something similar around here... what should i be lookn for?

just get some sunshine mix and feed yourself. Im sure a little bone meal wouldnt hurt. I use Sunshine LC1 from my local nursery. Experiment and learn.

A window a/c is not gonna affect humidity that much. You"ll need a dehumidifier if you want GOOD humidity levels.

Good drainage

IMO soilless mixes are best, but that actually depends on how you grow, I like SunShine Mix #4

that being said any good soil that you have access to will work

Espoma, Black Gold, are a couple that are similar to FoxFarm

Yes, your humidity is relative to your air temperature. A 85ºF room @ 90-95% humidity would be @100% and possibly dripping (water condensing on your ceilings) if the room was 70ºF ( w/o humidity control of course). Comprende'? Its a sight to behold to see it rain inside, never a good thing. When you are growing inside the moisture has to be condensed or routed somewhere unless you want your room "moist."
In a closed system humidity changes AS temperature changes.
