So how do you know when to water when it's in the ground? I'm new to the outside deal as when I was inside I would look at the soil on top to see if it's dry or even pickup the pots.

I have a moister tester I stick in the ground. They are really cheap like around 10$ at walmart. Or you could can get a 4 way tester for around 35 on amazon that tells you p.h./fertility of soil/moister level/and will meter how good the light is.

Well crap...... soooo even though I had my babies on a timer before I put them out....a few are trying to flower out. Nothing bad at all...not preflowers either. I think all these very dark rainy days did it. Its only four of them though. Oh well....nature will work itself out I guess. Bummer tho.
