Gotcha. I generally trellis my cuces too. Do you turn your melons? Do the cuces need turned laying on the ground like that?
I turn the melons and the cucumbers I usually pickle small so the plants are constantly getting flipped around.

Yeah folks grow more than pot. So many do so there is a special section for just that purpose. Not in this section.
This website has a lot more problems than threads started in the wrong forum....One of them being grinches such as yourself.

I guess I could have posted it in the proper forum, and gotten 10% of the feedback. Or I can post it in the forum that 90% of people go to when they go to RIU, and have some shithead (Who I am guessing is a moderator) tell me to post it somewhere else and receive WAY less feedback.

Great way to encourage learning. Now I'm encouraged to learn how to post threads in the proper forum, and subsequently still not give a fuck!

I grow plants for a living, and absolutely love it. I literally planted over 20,000 plants this last weekend (mainly just annual ornamental stuff and veggies/herbs). Attached is a pic of 15,000 of those plants in one of my many greenhouses. Getting ready for spring business.

I think too many people view marijuana as growing a drug and not a plant. There are so many rewarding plants to cultivate, its a shame more people don't explore the other possibilities outside of pot.

I will be doing the exact same thing in 3 years....I'm going to finish a B.A. in Agriculture (Production track), and the rest of my life will be spent planting. You make what you make, literally :o

That is awesome man for real, congrats! Every other job I have considered had some questionable aspects to it, but this is where I belong. Its constantly changing so its always fresh with every season. You usually deal with some pretty cool people and its so laid back. No work stress in my life at all.

Your gonna love it!

I am getting my outdoor garden ready now. I had a small one last year but will be going 4x's bigger this year. I was giving away 50-60lbs of food a week last year bit I want more variety this year. All of my seeds are non GMO heirloom seeds from Baker Creek and High Mowing. Some of the things going out tbis year will be okra, 3 different types of tomatoes, sweet corn, yellow squash, black beauty zucchini sweet red bells, squash, cucumbers, sweet yellow peppers, chocolate peppers, 5 colored Chinese peppers, ghost peppers, cayenne oh and since I work at a hydro shop I while still in college I have talked the owners into allowing me to attempt a record breaking giant pumpkin on one of my flood and drain tables at work we figure we can place the giant pumpkin on a pallet Im not sure if it has been done before but I am gonna give it a shot.
