Who has used Rapid Rooter

I use that when cloning (Clonex used for the hormone) as the "feed" in Root Riot cubes in a domed seed starter. In 10 days I have roots busting out of the cubes and get no def's to that point. I was given quit a bit to test by GH. I gave them a good review and told them how I use it. Good at transplanting too. Use as directed in concentrations.

I've been using rapid rooters for years. I take cuttings and just plug them in there without rooting hormone. Usually have roots by day 7 under a heated dome. If I have to wait to transplant i'll feed a 250ppm nute directly onto the rooter with no ill results. I dig em.

Used it after I dried out my medium too much causing possible root damage....I fed it to my plant along with floralicious plus, and a big increase in nutes....my plant responded well....cant said if it was the rapid rooter or not...

I only used it twice...there are cancer causing chemicals in it so I am a bit leary.

Love them for sure.. Have over 90% success using them usually just tap water though sometimes I will add a little root exc. or bio root, kln etc etc

Lately though I just put cuttings in a cup of moist coco, set & forget..that way I know they wont dry out as I don't like to use domes or mist If I do not need to.

Forgot about the root supp. I have only run the small sample size bottle on a few plants but if I remember correctly I liked it.

Must have it was gone quickly while other stuff has sat and sat.

I thought you were talking about this .

Like I said. I use this as the "feed" solution in the domed tray that contains the clones IN the Root Riot cubes. When I use this. I get thicker "fuzzier" roots faster, that transplant with FAR less transplant shock then when I use the Clone X clone solution. The Clone X takes longer and makes for thinner, longer and weaker roots that transplant no where near as well as the ones from the Rapid Start.

I prefer the Root Riot brand to the Rapid Rooters from GH.

I feel that the increased size of the Root Riot brand make for stronger, more established roots at transplant. (In other words, I've had better long term success with them when transplanting to hydro from the trays.)

Both products are great although i recently changed to rockwool ,still using rapid start tho, i honestly see no difference between the plugs and wool other then the rockwool being a lil picky with ph nothing a lemon cant do , overall great products all around

Love rapid rooters, great for cloning and starting seeds..:)
Set the heat mat so the ambient air temp inside the dome is at 78-82 deg and bam...roots in a week and seeds usually pop in 2-3 days.
Only thing I use for clones is rooting powder, all I do is just touch the tip of the cut end in it, as I feel too much tends to retard root growth.
I also leave 1/8" of leaf stem at the bottom node that I plug into the rooter. I feel that gives the clone a good bite in the rooter so it doesn't pull out and damage delicate roots when checking on them for moisture.
