What the fuck is it with chicks these days??

Why do they insist on sending texts to you constantly?!

It's just stupid bullshit too! Shit that I couldn't give a fuck less about, shit that goes in my brain, I think for a second, then I TOTALLY forget about because it was so stupid...

Then when you don't reply to one of the bullshit texts, they think you're pissed...

When it's really just you don't give a fuck... It's just a stupid text!

Wow, /rant... I just hate texting. How do I tell my chick this without having her bitch at me? I'm always in the middle of doing something and she'll send me a text, always!

But see, isn't that better than them calling you to tell you this shit? That's the way it used to be. I'd rather get a text and waste 10 seconds of my life than listen to bullshit for 30 mins.

Imagine, there will be a day where bitches type shit into something, send it, and get an automated response tailored to their personality. God willing.

texting is something that will tell you that you are being think about...aside of course on the idea if the person has important queries. one way of saying...keep in touch. yeah, it might be annoying to some, but its kindda takes worries sometimes...especially knowing that someone is thinking of you.

Why don't you just tell her how you feel? Tell her how text messaging is kinda silly to you and it just really isn't your thing. Tell her it's not her texts in particular, but you just don't like the whole texting thing. Mention to her how it interferes with stuff you're doing. It's really not that a big of a deal so she shouldn't make a big deal out of it if she's mature.

i dont hate texting per say, but i hate excessive texts lol. if im texting one of my guys, its because i need weed, or something funny happened that i thought they'd appreciate, or to ask them something, etc. i dont text without a reason. i never text guys to just be like "hi whats up, hows ur day, what are you doing"...im too busy with other shit lol.

i once sent a text to a guy i was talking with saying that i was soaking wet from the rain...and not wearing a bra...haha. and the dipshit didnt even bother to reply. all he needed to do, was send a text saying this ":D" and i would have been content. i was of the opinion that a guy would appreciate a little message like that from a girl he's into...oh well. i was wrong i guess...

I wouldn't generalize and say "why do "chicks" like texting?". Speaking as one of the "chicks", I can't stand being on the phone for long, for texting or anything else. I'd rather be fishing. Or hunting. Or growing. You get the idea. (And the phone goes off - I don't leave it on when I'm busy.)
My best friend, his girlfriend calls or texts him all the fuckin time, and if he doesn't answer she freaks out - even if she knows he's in the middle of something (like deer hunting!). Myself, I think it's a means of manipulation. If you don't like it, don't put up with it. Or ignore it. Those are the options, pretty much.

Padawan. Every time she texts you, just pick up your phone and call her. I work around lots of texting age people (ppl); they text just to text. Makes them feel like they exist a little more. Posting crap on your wall on Facebook is the same thing. Or bumping a thread at RIU.

So call her up and say, 'hey, you texted me. What's up?' She says 'nothing, I was just thinking of you'. 'Oh, that's sweet' you reply. I'll bet she stops after a while.

I have never text anyone,,nor do I read any I get,,I just dismiss them,,,if I'm gonna carry a cell PHONE and answer it,,there better be a god damn person on the other end,,I'm just all touchy feely that way:eyesmoke: ,,,and I always hang up instantly if it's some recording on the other end,,if I say hi twice and no one says anything,,bye bye

i hate texting too, but it could have something to do with the fact it takes me 15 mins to text 2 sentences. i also pay per individual text so it really burns me when i pay 11 cents to read a text like "HAha" or "Kk"

i think blogging texting twitter youtube and facebook are whats going to ruin the world. not that these things going to blow up the planet, but everyone who is pryoritized in this bull shit that doesnt even mean anything are missing out on educating inspiring and just bettering them selves

gonna have to agree i cant stand texting and it is more than the ladies. seems im the only one who dont around here. the thing is must of the time its stupid dumbass jokes or pics. i dont care about that shit and when it is something with a real message it takes a good 15 min. to have the whole conversation (texting back and forth).
if ya would have just called we'd be done in 2 min. DAMN I HATE IT so yeah i call back and tell everyone i dont do it and they wont get a response. I guess im done i could bitch forever on this.

who buys a cell PHONE to send a email ( text, im) what ever i dont get it. check it some of you guys will remember this , but i have phone at home and when i dont answer the caller leaves a message on my answering machine and well i then call them back. i dont think people need a 100 ways to communicate .WHATEVER!!!!

I 100% agree. Texting sucks. I find that most calls are mostly about stupid shit. Why put it in writing?

Just fucking email me and leave my phone for talking! I'm too old to figure that out! I just got a damn camera that's just as complicated. Wait till you "texters" get old, there'll be something that confuses the shit out of you too! Remember when granny couldn't figure out her VCR and we had to go over and program it for her?

I would text if you could get a voice interpreter to spell it out instead of trying to type on those tiny keys that I can hardly see... but I wouldn't pay for the AP anyway!
