Who Do You Think Has The Best Strain of Northern Lights?

Seedwise, that is. It is a classic strain that has found itself worked into almost everything. I am going to grow it indoors and it has all the qualities I am looking for
Indica growing characteristics
Low marijuana odor
Low other odor, doesn't smell like other things except a bit piney
Doesn't have a bunch of weird flavors in it
Beginner friendly
Takes to Screens of Green and other LST well.

Been thinking about it for a while but almost every seed outfit has their own. Just looking to see what has worked well for you guys. Thanks!

sensi seeds has the closest to the original but the knock-offs won't be to bad either cause its a true breeding strain so if the knock-off company does a good job it should still breed true. but even sensi's version is a knock-off it was bred in the US then the dutch got ahold of it (neville I think) just like skunk #1, bubblegum, big bud, g13, etc its amazing how many good strains where bred by private breeders in the US.

Thanks! That was what I was looking for. Sensi seeds are damn expensive for the first grow. It is good to know that it should be similar from other companies then.

That depends, I'm going with Sensi seed subsidiary co. White Label's NL. :weed: It's 90% indica short, fast, hard nugs. Piney, low odor, sounds like just what you want. There are other NL's that have a more sativa cross & they are quite diff. :peace:

I'll cast another vote for Dr. Atomic's NL, i grew both sensi's and Dr. Atomic's versions and the sensi version did not produce better bud although its 2x the price, the smell was similar, stronger on the Dr.A gear though. g13 labs has a good fem version and nirvana offers a stable version for cheap, just not quite as good as Dr. A's or Sensi's rendition as it lacks vigor in comparison.

My PeakseedsBC NL's are all quite promising and remind me a hell of a lot of old school NL as far as odor and appearance goes. Plus they're cheap, so if you don't like them, it's not as big a deal.

Another vote the Dr. Atomic. I've grown his NL5, Blueberry x NL and Blueberry Jam. I really like the NL5. His Blueberry Jam went a different way than my worked version of his Blueberry x NL but was still great.

Try the NL5. It is a good smoke.

I really liked it. Finished in about 8 weeks, took all the nutrients I threw at her without a fuss, had beautiful buds, spicy aroma, smooth on the inhale but it will grab you off guard easy, and a heavy high. it instantly became my night smoke. Definitely worth a grow, i wouldn't hesitate to grow it again. Highly recommended.

The Dr. Atomic's rendition seems to have been bred with many NL. if you like his work, its worth giving his "blueberry jam" a try, its NL x Blueberry, blueberry scent/smell and NL vigor and stability. the NL seems to be fruitier than most and piney. the BB Jam is almost like Blue jollyrancher weed.

Nirvana Northern Lights is really nice. Their Master Kush is worth trying i think

i grew white label nl & nirvana nl side by side at the start of 2012 & yes both plants are very easy to grow, both good yielders & dont smell to much.they smoked very nice but strength wise they were not very potent at all & i was very dissapointed with the end result :(.
if i was to grow out nl again i would go for mr.nice seeds ortega
