Who actually harvests before 7 weeks

Y'all's rainin' on my harvest parade.

Do your bud tops ever get crunchy, mainly the main bud?

One more question, do you see much growth in the last WEEK let's say, meaning significant, that you say wow!? how bout last three days?

or better yet, has waiting one or two days made the difference?

So that just goes to show that the whole idea that people shouldn't grow bagseed cause you'll never know how long to flower argument is hogwash. If the "known" strains are taking just as long as the unknown strains, but cost "x" times more than FREE, then why should anyone buy seeds? Unless a person needs a specific medicinal strain that you can only buy from a breeder, then I can't see why anyone wouldn't just go with the bagseed? They're free, and there's always the adventure aspect of "what am I going to get?" that goes along with that. Just my opinion anyways

I havent seen seeds in bud in a couple years, thats my reason, and im sure many many others.

Bushmaster did allow me to grab a few plants at 50 days, but I mostly used it for canopy control, not the "less time" angle . . . which is based on BMaster eliminating the stretch phase.
No stretch = 14 days off, per Humboldt BM.
BushMaster 1

BMaster 2

yeah, i use it for the hieght control mostly, but the early finish sure is a bonus.

i think more people should use it. countless threads about canopy control...

38-39 days of flowering.....
Trichs are all cloudy and the high is great. I harvested because it started to go hermy(you can see a banana in the picture). I would of only let it go 1-2 more weeks. I was already leaching. I only got 27 grams minus a sample. So I probably would of probably got another 1/4 if she had a chance

Its from some brick weed I had. One of the last no name seeds I was growing
My mom has a grow with one from the same strain and is having the same results. She is at 32 days and is almost all cloudy, I think she said 80%-90% cloudy. She sampled a bud and said it got her extremely stoned.

I pollinated this one with a male of the same strain and am going to keep this 5-6 weeker alive

Greetings to All I have never posted here before, I just looked up what I needed. Great posts as I am atweek 5 and was thinking I might only have a couple of weeks to go but from what I read here it will be at least two but more like 4 or more. I have what I was told is SFV OG in a closet grow under 1000HPS in soil. I just finished removing some small lower budlets and some top leaf blocking the light. I have been using ChaChing for almost 1 week and what a difference. Any suggestions on How to know When to crop? Trichome color? Plant "looks" ready?

she should wait at least 20 more days

i really can't see how a bud can be ripe in 32 days of flowering. that's less than 5 weeks. if it's goof now, imagine if it reaches its potential?
although there may be the argument that some plants are better harvested when super young. like veal cutlet in the ranching world? and male goats for meat that you castrate before they release their hormones, to keep the meat tender,

can this be done in the weed kingdom? probably.

Sorry just because everyone says something doesnt make it so. Im sure this bud was done...
Like I said I would of liked to let it got for maybe 1 more week but I dont like couch lock and I harvest right when they start showing amber. There are many different strains in the world. Some of breeders have a strain that flowering in 5-6 weeks.
If I could get a good shot of the trichomes I would show you that my bud is done. Aside from that you would just have to smoke some. Call me an idiot and talk trash about me having some bad ass genetics to work with.

Sorry about that lol
I know and I had to have someone else double check for me because it was hard for me to believe. I missed out on probably a 1/4 ounce for sure. Damn bananas....

I am the Mom he speaks of and I would not believe if I had not seen it with my own eyes.

The plant in question showed sex on 3/4 making it 4 weeks into flower. My trichomes are indeed 80% cloudy with a few ambers mixed in with the newly formed clear trichomes.

I am waiting and check trichomes every day or two to monitor the situation. I want to wait as long as possible because I understand it will really increase my yield. I am now only using water because if things keep progressing like this I could be harvesting in the next week or two.

I am not a fan of couch lock and prefer a more productive high but I am a big fan of large nugs so I will wait and monitor the situation.
