I had organically grown NL #5 at Sensi Coffeeshop in Amsterdam. I think that´s as close to "real" Northern Lights as you can get...anyway, the smoke was good, the high was quite strong, but I´m not really a fan of the scent and flavor. I´ve tried other Northern Lights and other coffeeshops, but the one at Sensi was probably the best. Even so, I wouldn´t bother growing it, since Im not that fond of it anyway. Theres better weed out there, imo...

Same goes for WW...I´ve had it from many different places, and was never overly impressed with it. The smell and taste of it are just not my thing, and the high isn´t strong enough to make it worth my while. Having said that, I never actually had the original White Widdow (called Black Widdow now...) so I don´t kow what thats like.

If I had to pick one of the two, I guess I´d go for NL if it´s #5 from Sensi.

think I may agree with this.
nirvana's white widow and N.L were junk, greenhouse seeds white rhino looks just like the widow crap from nirvana. Not a fan of the whites so far. Tgagenetics has been good to me.

well people have different opinions on different strains. no strain is better than another. its preference.

Seedsman White Widow is some fire, Dr Atomic NL is potent and yields like crazy

post number "666" LOL. I grew NL#5 and that plant didnt yield well at all for me but I was growing small SOG plants and some strains need longer veg to perform. Did White widow long time ago and it was really good. Just got a new cut of it and will see in the next couple months how it does. WW is supposed to be one of the strongest strains you can get.

seedsman ww is rubbish

I vote for White Widow, as I prefer it's Sativa influenced stoned compared to Northern Lights.
Northern Lights is good stuff, knock out Indica's are just not my preference though.
As for breeders, go with Mr. Nice Seeds Black Widow (which is the original White Widow).
