Hi all,

First of all, gotta say these are some great forums - the amount of info ive taken in from other members is amazing and the grow journals the same!

So this is going to be a constantly updated thread of my 1st "proper" grow.

Currently I have got 1 unknown in 12/12 and 2 unknown that are 6 days old from seed on 24/0. Just going to see what happens with those.

What I am really interested in is the ones I am germinating at the moment:

1 x White Widow
1 x Pineapple Express
2 x Bubblelicious Auto Flower

The setup I have is 1 shelve area and 1 grow tent with a potential for another closet room aswell.

For the unknowns that I experimenting with I have the 1 that is on 12/12 on the converted shelve under 1 x dual spec 125w and 1 x 2700k 150w. There is also another 2700k 125w in there but its off at the moment.

The unknowns that are 6 days old, they have been in the grow tent since sprouting under a 300w 6400k on 24/0

The main grow I am interested in is the others I have listed above - my plan is the keep the bubblegum auto's on 24/0 and the same for the WW and Pine Exp. Then I want clones from the WW and Pine Exp and keep the mothers in 18/6.

Should be interesting to see how it goes.

Pics are from the unknowns - will get a bit busier once the others have germinated :)

One thing I forgot to mention is the unknown that is on 12/12 is quite old. It was on top of a cabinet with just normal inside daylight until I got my setup - its been under CFLs for about a week which would explain the tiny looking stem ;) The 2 others have been under the lights since showing there heads :)

Any reason you picked some auto and some not auto?

And on a random thought, do you like your grow tent? To me they just don't look right, not a nice home for my plants

The reason why was because of speed - I wanted to harvest quickly and the auto's are ideal for that and then I have some while im waiting for the others :) Also I have 2 growing areas that are ready and a 3rd that is 50% kitted out so I will be able to have diff strains in diff grow areas on different light scheduling if that makes sense :)

The tent is OK for me, its the first one I have used and got it for half price as it was ex display in my local Hydro store :) Couldnt really turn it down.

Thanks :) Its going to be fun watching how it all turns out. The material is Diamond Reflective Mylar made by Metagrow.

Here is some info on it:
Biggest diamonds on the market, for increased reflectivity and heat dispersion.

This fantastic product from Metagro is 'diamond pressed', which increases light diffusion in the grow room meaning no more hotspots! In addition to this it is easier to handle and more resistant to creasing than any other sheeting on the market, and all with the existing benefits of Metagro's premium Reflect-a-Gro. • Diamond pressed for increased light diffusion and easier handling • 50% more reflective than standard black & white sheeting • Flame Retardant with • EMP Guard

And.. just got back in from work and checked on the seeds - The Pineapple Express and White Widow showed there tap roots this morning so they have been planted in plugs - The Pineapple Express already shown its head (from time I put it in the plug with a tap root to the time it showed its head above soil was 7 hours!!) 2 x Bubblegum have cracked and 1 is showing a tiny tap root. Will move them both into plugs tomorrow morning :) So 100% at the moment - just hope that all of them sprout!

Turn those lights horizontal and get them closer. You're seedlings look quite stretched.
Those 2 are the unknowns - The pic is quite deceiving - the light is currently 1/2' inch away. I'll take some better pics soon, they dont look that bad when looking straight at them :)

White Widow and Pineapple express are now under the light in the tent. Also moved the 300w inside the tent to a horizontal position. 2 x Bubblelicious should be going in there tomorrow aswell and planning on adding one of my 150w to the grow tent.

The unknown on 12/12 is looking well - pretty sure she is about to show me her tittys lol - hopefully tittys and not balls. Will get some closeup pics tomorrow and post :)

These are the pics this morning of the unknown on 12/12. Saw a first hair this morning - made me smile :)

This plant has gone through the wars - was originally on top a cabinet for quite a while, then the cat managed to get hold of it and have a bit of a munch so was deformed from an early age.

But its been under lighting on 12/12 for a week now and its looking nice :)

White Widow / Pineapple Express Day 2

These are a few pics of the White Widow and Pineapple Express. The Pine Exp looks a bit curled but should be fine in a few hours I hope :)

Just moved the 1st Bubblelicious under the light. And the other pic is from the 2 unknowns approx 10 days old.

I had one of my sprouts curl up on me too, just like that. Had fallen half way over even. Turned out just fine in a few days after supporting it with some extra soil. Once it straightens itself out, get an fan on it and it'll stay strong for the rest of your grow I'm sure.

Thx for the advice, it has straightened up after a few hours of being under the light. Got a fan on it already. More hairs seen on the unknown before putting it to sleep. More pics tomorrow :)
