hello guys .

new to the forum , not to growing .

doing a run of white widow for the first time and they are about 3 to 4 weeks in , tops are getting heavy and resinous , with pretty much zero smell ..... if this was any other strain , people would smell this a mile away with out the carbon scrubbers and ozone .... i'm just filtering the room air with one carbon filter and haven't run the scrubbers or ozone yet .

i forget the word right now .... semi organic maybe ... anyway i'm feeding a mix of salt nutes and teas , which normally make for some potent smelling weed .

so the question is , is there anything i can add to bring out more flavors and smell ? odor control is not a issue ..

to give a idea how potent this stuff is ..... i'm high as hell right now from rearranging the room and having the buds brush up against my skin .... just no smell .

any ideas ?

Placebo effect at its finest.. if only it worked that way... anyhow.. u still have time for the scent to pick up and many strains don't put out their full smell or even much of a smell until the cure, as long as it's cured properly that is. So I wouldn't be too concerned. I suppose it could be a poor breeders batch or an unlucky pheno but I wouldn't jump to that conclusion yet.

Anyhow, go rub some more weed, no point in wasting it and smoking it like some dumbass when u can just keep rubbing the same bud and get high that way eh?? No offense but if you genuinly believe you got high from brushing up against your buds... then you are just plain silly :)

The fact that you said you rubbed up against plants and got high tells me you've never grown before---or successfully.

Let me put into to context how you sound; imagine you cut your hand really bad, you go to the ER and the DR says smear dog poop on your wound just like eygptians did back in the day...your first thought would be this guy is an absolute idiot, I don't care where he graduated from or what he did in the past. His comment instantly descredits him from anything he could say to you.

Having said that, there is still hope as other pointed out. You are early in the flower and you can definitely help in getting the bud more resinous and a little more fragrant. Some products to consider would be Citrus or Berry from Botaincare, Potasium heavy nutrients like Finish from Heavy 16 or Terpinator.

Anyways good luck to you!

do you have actual real world experience with altering the smell and flavour profile of these plants ?

or did you just regurgitate what google told you and are trying to pass it off as real experience?

Didn't say ALTERING. You are not reading the English language I am writing for you. I am not sure if you are using a google translator. To assist you again, let me write this out these very basic Response:

1. You CANNOT change the smell or taste of bud with any product

2. I said the word MORE Resious and MORE fragrant- that means what-ever smell is existing will BE INCREASED, not changed or altered. Only increased. Here is an example: you have $1 dollar I give you another $1 dollar. Did your currency change to EU miraculously? No. You only increased the value you already had.

3. Yes all 3 products have been used extensively by people I know, by myself and there are hundred is online video Grow journals showing their application and use. As with any product there will always be some people who don't like them. One more example: I like ketchup, maybe you don't. Does that mean ketchup is trash and should never be used on burgers? No. It means we have different tastes and applications. Just like these products.
