Is it possible for a white widow to be done at 48 days? Or close to being done? I have a White Widow from dinafem and its the most indica leaning pheno of any strain I have running. My critical plus is suppose to be the earliest finishing strain that I have running and on it there are about 20% red hairs compared to about 70% red hairs on the widow.
I do not judge from hairs however, I use a 50x100x microscope and usually harvest when trichs are about 90% cloudy and 10% amber, as I like a cerebral high more than couch lock. From the looks of this Widow pheno I have the calyxes are swollen and about 70% cloudy/ 25% clear/ 5% amber. Im looking at these buds trichs under the 1000 watt hps which i've noticed before has thrown me off. I dont know why it is so hard to determine the color of trichs under the light but in the past it has thrown me off. Is there a specific lighting I should use? The scope itself has a built in light but it doesn't overpower the grow lamp of course.
So what do you think?
