White Widow Final Days Before Harvest.

This is my beautiful White Widow. This summer was almost perfect along Lake Michigan, and she popped off. Didn't top her like I normally do. Didn't want to risk the genetics herming on me from stress. Super paranoid!

Thing is, it's mid October, and she is still covered in white pistils and very little amber trichs. For the first time, I am forcing the issue due to freezes we are already dealing with. I have had her in the garage now for about 24 hours with very, very little indirect light. She is still amazingly strong, but I have one more night of freeze.

My thought is, keep her in the garage until she is ripe. She's already huge, so why not just force the issue with light deprevation?

Definitely try to keep her going. How cold is it getting there overnight? I’m up in Ontario and our 10 day forecast doesn’t show anything below 0 right now.

Last freeze for awhile was last night. If I keep her in the garage, it looks like a cloudy day in there with light coming through the window.

I am putting her back out now.

What's light deprivation going to do once it's already fully flowering? That's used to force plants to flower. Your issue is it's not finished. You can definitely put it in the garage at night but you'll want it outside in the light during the day. You can also finish it off indoors under lights. Some will freak out about bringing outdoor plants inside. I've done it many times and never had any issue.

What xtsho said. It's flowering, dark will not make it flower faster. Get it as much light as possible, you have a ways to go. It won't develop and ripen in darkness, or near darkness.

Done. Thanks for the input. I was a little paranoid there, even though this is not my first grow, obviously. First time with prime genetics though, thus my paranoid nature yesterday.

I run 6 plants outside here in AZ every day. All I ever got was a grasshopper an inchworm and a couple lady bugs. Its never hurt a plant. I leave them in a tent if the weather's not good.
Also get a tent, it's so much easier to control the stages of the plants.
