white widow density problem

hey guys my friends been growing his white widow for a while now around 2-3 years. The plants always look perfect except the buds are getting worse. They come out all dry and bushy and while this is good to an extent it's like theres no thc left in them. So he's running a 400 w mh in the flowering room and uses soil. Since i'm getting a clone of him i want to try and densen the buds a bit. Without going into too much detail my flowering room will have 2 1000w hps and will use a recovery drip feed hydro system. My question is will my room make the buds with more density and how can he achieve the same in his room without changing too much?. Thanks in advance if you can help happy smoking.

Why not get yourself some new seeds? Lot's of reputable breeders out there. As far as dense buds that's all up to you. Don't let them get too hot, lot's of variables man. Good luck either way.

Environment.

Bad genetics, the way he's growing the, nutes all types of possibilities. Like Zack66 said some s33ds or even do some research on some other clones.

i've been looking for a while but i'm not sure how safe it is i'm down under in australia and our immigration are pretty tight if you know any that would be awesome

Bc seedking out of Canada has some pretty good fem seeds. I've grown it a few times and like it. I grew a little over a 7 ounce plant last summer with their strain. Killer smoke too. They have excellent discreet shipping also. I've gotten around 8 orders from them and haven't lost any through the mail.
