White Widow close to harvest, need advice!

Whats up everyone! So this is my first micro hydro grow and it has gone very well. I am using FF nutes and growing in a PC case. A few weeks ago I noticed the tips of my leaves turning brown I backed off on food and gave the plants just water with a ph just over 6.0 for a week, just gave them fresh water with small amount of food the other day. Can anyone tell me what the brown spots on the leaves are from. Also did I go about trying to treat it properly? This White Widow is so close i dont want to see her in despair. I will also be upgrading my set up so any help is appreciated for future reference.

Can you specify which FF nutes and what strength? I'm making a shot in the dark here but I'd say deficiency ... calcium andor potassium. cn

I am using big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, and cha Ching. I have been using about half to 3 quarter strength. I believe I had a PH issue which caused nute lock. I checked my PH before I started giving straight water and it was high. I was thinking calcium deficiency myself. They have been taking forever to finish and I am sure it is because of the issues. They should be ok though right?

Maybe the heat? Doesnt high temps cause the plant to not be able to properly metabolise the nutes resulting in burn or something?

I don't think its heat. I've done that before and that looked nothing like this.LOL! My temps hardly ever get above 85 anyway.

looks like cal/mag, you can tell by the ridges and the tips turning color. tho at this stage i wouldn't worry about it, but depends how far from clipping you are....

I think were on the same page on this one Devilspawn. I know what your talking about ratatoolie, I have seen that before when the leaves die. This is totally different though.

I got some trichomes turning cloudy, but they are taking for ever!! Probably because i had nute lock out. At this point though I don't think I will give her anymore food since I am so close.

White widow seems to be fairly finicky and I have some plants that have shown nute lockout sysmptoms (I grow FF nutes in soil under CFLs) and this tends to be a constant battle. I solved it, as much as I could, by flushing and lowering ph as well as keeping the soil a little less moist and somewhat warmer. This seems to have worked. The two attached pictures are of the plants now at 30 days into flowering and a prior one which shows the chlorosis from the deficiency. They are doing well now though. You seem to be late to harvest, not just because of the color of the hairs but the trichromes look dark. Of course I can only tell so much from a pic.

I wish I had darker trichcomes! I could harvest already! I check them every day and they are still clear for the most part. Dec. 15 was 8 weeks of flowering for them. So i'm guessing another week or two and they should be ripe. Yours are looking really good Cheeseschrist! You definitely got less stress than i do! This is my first time growing white widow and my first time running hydro as a medium. So i am pretty happy with what i got so far. I will be stepping up my grow pretty soon so this was a good bit of practice before i invest more money.

i am also growing in a pc box to get the exp. once i get the hang of it the pc will be the veg box n half my closet will be my set up wit more accessories ........ but i do need all the help i can get so stay sub ppl! thanks :)

Ok. So My MI-5 that's close to finish is at double strength nutrient(Floranova Bloom), in soil, and shows no sign of yellowing or browning, why? Seems as if it has stopped getting too much taller.
