its kinda hard to remember but. $80 for the tent. $130 for 20 30w cfl and 10 reflectors. $150 for blower and duct work and parts for a homemade carbon filter. $40 on wood and hardware. Plus seeds and dirt and hydro so all told i'm over $400 in. where i am good weed is $200-250 an oz, so i get a oz dry of a plant by my third plant its all paid for :)
 
Day 28,
I trimmed my lower fan leaves to give the lower branches more light and it really filled out, also i gave it a full dose of nutes today hopefully she can handle it!!

Hey i'm using 10, 30w cfls. 2 on top and 2 down each side with r40 reflectors. i don't know if i posted this pic.
my rig is a prototype i wanna change the way i run my wires and make it a lil shorter its a lil to long for the plant i used y spliters to lower my top lights.

Hey everyone,
I built a veg chamber out of the top half of an armoire and lined it with printer paper (it works pretty good and the price was right).
I've germed a G13 purple haze fem freebie i got from attitude.

With the addition of the purp haze and veg chamber i was thinking i should start a grow journal. I thought of a good title too "Beansfranklin's CFL Miracle Grow(ing)" because i use miracle grow

get a y splitter on that top light! it's not gonna do much that much further up than the rest of the lights. I'd suggest getting a 40+ watter in there if you're gonna leave it as is.

the printer paper setup is surprisingly legitimate though. +rep (if i could =/)
 
I have other ones, their just being used right now. I'm going to prop it up right underneath when its fully open. plus maybe get some socket extensions if i need them. Theres 6 26w 65k thats lots for 1 plant imo.
 
Well unfortunately this will technically be my 4th. First was two plants givin to me at the end of veg, all i had was two 24'' floros and i new nothing about growing. then i had a ice clone under my very first light rig with aluminum foil for reflectors (lol) i didn't get a big yield but it was really sticky and decent. Then my first WW a heat wave pushed my average temp up to 36c and i had almost no crystal formation and it was a very weak stone that only lasted about 15-20 mins.

So basically this is/will be my first successful grow (if nothing goes wrong), so if ur first grow is half as good, i'm jealous of you lol.
 
Ok some i'm trying to make some beer can reflectors, and i remember comeing across a tutorial but i'm haveing trouble finding it anyone have the link or remember what it was called?
 
looking great man. i think id be happy if i found a single seed forming in bud like that... just means you can do it all over again.

I agree free seed without ruining the bud, sweet! But why did it form? is it common for a seed to form like that? and will the seed be viable or will it hermie?
