2nd ever grow with CFL will keep everyone posted how it goes feel free to answer any questions and give opinions even if you may not think its appropiate...Im a fairly new grower I appreciate any form or type of input and help thx

well got some white widow seeds online and put 2 in paper towel and a ziploc bag then put in a sock and will wait till they actually germinate...I then had 2 beans I put in water for 8 hours that I then took and put into a #4 Jiffy cup with pre wettened Premium potting soil that has peat moss and perlite(all pre added in bag) I then put them about 2.5 inch under 1X40w and 1X30w 6500k cfl and left uncovered

temp says 76.4f and 61% humidity with no fan this sound alright? I have the thermostat sitting balanced on two edges of the jiffy cup above plant

covered the thermometer with a peice of cardboard as i figured the direct light from my CFL was throwing it off says temp in that room is 72.1f now which should be alright I hope..The jiffy cups are still pretty moist

Checked on the seeds I put in paper towel didnt notice any cracks so added a couple dribbles of water and put back to there drawer to hopefully germinate

humidity in the room says 44% now but when I put the thermometer in the ziplocbag dome over the jiffy cup it readys 65

next time for germination sterilize everything put some jug water in a cup drop ya seeds and cover it completly with a clear baggie youll see your root in 24 hrs by 72 it should be nice long n ready to buyr

hi there i have a fan I hooked up now humidity says its 36% I read somewhere on here that it should be around 50% and under?

as well as peaked into my paper towel this am the seeds have cracked and white tap root is starting to show so probably by tonight(just guessing) I will plant those 2 beans into some soil to join the other 2 beans I just put directly into soil(have not sprouted yet)

well can see 2 lil stem lookin things but they are bent over just barely pushing through the soil, did some digging on the two beans that i just threw into soil without germinating and not far from the surface are the seeds i tried moving it but it seemed like it was pretty snug so hoping that a taproot has worked its way out of the seed and secured itself and will with the shoot to the surface

well the 2 plants that I germinated in paper towel and put into souid are about 1/2-1 inch tall one plant is starting to grow the jaggedd leaf now just tiny though while the other is still sportin the coaliz or however it is spelt, bad news I had the other 2 beans that I presoaked and threw in soil I knocked them over this am accidently and wrecked them spent an hour looking for the seeds in the mess of soil but to no luck...so i guess 2 plants is what il be stuck with instead of the 4



pretty cold here this week so turned a light on above seedlings to keep the temp up hopefully this wont kill the 2 temp is raninginf between 75-80f
