The strains are just too different to tell as far as growing goes. As for the cabinets, the ebb and flo is much easier to deal with. I just disconnect the res and it is easy to clean and replace. With DWC you have this huge plant that is in a screen and you have to lift up the screen and the plant then move them to a fresh bucket. With my wife's help I can do it but it is a bitch for sure. I have a clone of WW waiting for the Kush to harvest. The day after the harvest I will start a new grow and we will see how the WW does under CFL's. These next two may be my last small grows. I ran into a little money and have decided to build a 10 ft by 10 ft room in my garage. I want to make BHO and you need a lot of bud to make much of that.

I'll be following them keenly. I'm convinced you'll be swimming in bud after your first run in your new grow space. This makes me green with envy (pun?).

I made QWISO hash with 2 zips of trimmings from my last couple harvests. The 2 zips of shade converted into about 1ml of concentrate, so you're right - you need a significant amount of bud to make a reasonable amount of oil. I mixed oil with VG and PG, and vape it though a e-cig. Tastes a little musky, but does the job.

Time for an update. I left off on the 22nd so onto the 23rd. Everything is looking good at this point and if it continues I expect a very nice harvest considering it only under 150w HPS.



Then the 26th

Next up we have the 29th. This is day 56 of flower and it looks like it has a way to go. They say it goes 55-60 days. We will see.



So I am thinking at around 14 more days.

So, it looks like its time to do an update. The first is from the 30th.



Then from May 1st.



May 1st is day 58 of flower.

Moving forward these are from May 4th.



And May 6th.



So, we are up to day 64 of flower. Starting to see about 20-30 % milky trichs. Every thing is looking good so far. Hopefully we start seeing some amber in the next few days and then we will start the final countdown to harvest. Don't really know how much time we are looking at but I am hoping not longer than 2-3 weeks.

I got sidetracked by some home improvement and forgot to update this thread. These are the harvest pics.




Final Results: Prime Buds,85g….Popcorn Buds,47g….Shake,30g….Kief,2g

Both of my grows turned out excellent and I leaned a lot. Everyone out there that has thought about giving growing a try, go for it. You get a lot of satisfaction smoking your own buds.
