White stuff on plant?

so i was checking on my plant and there was white wet stuff on it kinda like paint but there were other weeds etc around but my stuff was the only one marked is this natural or is someone letting me know they know about it...? please get back to me

could it be bird dookie? If not get some fungicide on it before it spreads. It could also be from some kind of insect, you might want to hit it with some insecticide also.

Don't go crazy with it all over though, just hit that spot heavy and mist the rest of the plant stalk included.

Are you sure it was wet? I had white on a few leaves that I think was from thrips (and maybe leafhoppers) - found a few bugs and sprayed neem oil for a few days and the problem was gone. It was not wet, though - it was systemic. Post a pic - I'd like to see if it's the same as what I had.
