"White" Strains Trichome Colors

Strain name is basically meaningless anymore due to all the copycats. You can go to a seed bank and look up a strain. There may be half a dozen breeders all offering the same strain but when you look at the descriptions the lineage is all over the map. Take White Widow for example. If you look on seedfinder there are over 100 different versions of White Widow. It's a joke. That's why I don't pay any attention to hybrid names. They're meaningless. Someone can say they're growing this or that but it might not have any of the lineage as the original. Some of the stuff out there are just pollen chucks given a well known name because it makes them sell better. The is no oversight over cannabis seeds. Someone could make a website to sell seeds, make one pollen chuck, and make up twenty different strains for sell using the same seeds. Things like that are definitely occuring.
