White silky web on bud: Fungus? Insect?

The wilting and dead leaves indicate fungus damage. The leaves would remain healthy and green if the webbing were from a passive source. Take a look inside each infected bud. You'll see browning/graying and spores all over the stems.

dont think its spiders...i just had a case of 'botrytis' on my thick cola, removed all the bad area, and they seem to be fine now. also got my humidity down to 35-40%..where as before it was 55-60...

I think it looks more like mold than spider mites, wouldn't the mites web be over the leaves not under them? It looks like the mold is coming from the inside to the out. Hope it all works out and you get it figured out!

I just had the same thing on mine.One day it just appeared.I cut the plant down.I believe it was lack of air movement and high humidity.I'm getting a fan and not going to crowd so much.
