I don't know any tom hill or ptk :confused: I'm tom__420 and the pic in my avatar is just some random bagseed. Check out my journal if you're interested don't wanna jack dewey's thread yah know. I just took some new pics tonight

Never tried anything else. It was cheap, and I wanted Perlite cause it's white which is more reflective :)

I would like to try others, but this is working so well. I almost went to Hydroton, but did not want to fork out the dough in the beginning for it.

Had to fill up the rez, takes some readings, everything looking all right! :) Ph needed to be corrected to 5.7 from 5.9. Not a bad jump. 1600 PPM seems to be the sweet spot. Plants are showing more growth then I had at 1100-1400. Not to mention, I was not adding any nutes back in on the fill ups. So now every 2-3 days when I need to add 2-3 gallons, I put back more nutes with those fill ups, where as before I was not. And in the past, My Ph was going up, and PPM was going down. Now its stable everyday.

Looking good and thanks for the response. The FF perlite is around 50.00 for a 4 cu bag at my local store, my main reason for reusing it was ease not so much expense. Didn't even think of reusing it for other container plants.....guess my indoor veggie garden can get the leftovers. Was considering hydroton or the sunleaves rocks due to re usability but I have heard nightmares about dealing with that stuff.....as far as cleaning and reusing anyway.

Ok shipinit, I wanna hear about the nightmares, cus I'm tryin to make the same decision here. If the chunky perlite works that well, and its cheaper even if I don't reuse it, its no big deal. I just don't think I want to use rockwool, and until a couple months ago I didn't realize perlite was even an option, or that there were many options other then hydroton.

I probably should have stated nightmare for my purposes (light weight, easy to transport, neutral ). Physically I don't know how long I would last hauling that stuff/hauling it to tub to soak and clean. I also read some people were reporting that after a few uses they could not remove excess salts from within the pellets. My whole interest in the hydroton rocks from the get go was the ability to re-use them but now I don't know....think perlite with a small amount of vermiculite might be best for me.

I have been using perlite for a while with hempy's and as a general additive to my soil-less mixes....with that said I have been limited to the regular garden store variety until recently unless I wanted it shipped in.

I think I might check out some local dispensaries and look into buy a few clones to try some other strains especially for next winter. I would love some Grand Daddy Purple Jush and maybe one of the Jack strains. For now,I think I will go to just growing Bella. Seems to be the smoke for me. Whats every one else growing and smoking?

lol, smoking .....nothing!! All we've been smoking is mids, but untill my harvest, we are gonna be dry. I'm gonna be moving in august, and my gf just quit her job, so money is VERY tight. So I decided I'm done buying weed, for good hopfully. I'll have plenty in just over 9 weeks, and until then we're getting clean. I bet we'll get really high when we smoke some of my Kush, or WW. I've got 5 WW, 1 afghan kush, 2 puple powers, and 2 power skunks growing right now.

Nice, We need an update on ur page! Looks like you got some large ones that should supply you for a good amount of time till you get your new place. Have any close ups of your White Widows?

I will get pics up tomorrow, its been almost 2 weeks since the last pics, so it should be a very very noticeable difference. The WW did alot this past week in particular. I'll make sure to take some macros of the buds, they look sweet, and are only about 3 weeks old. I deffinitly prefer the indicas, and indica dom hybrids to my pure sativas. The WW is deffinitly my fav so far. It even smells way different, I love it.

Damn is right. Very nice lookin buds shipinit!! Sounds like a nice collection of genetics too. I can't wait to get a few more strains, cus the only ones I'm keeping from my current are the WW, Kush, and I also have 5 mango seeds. My mango plants grew really nice, but ended up being males.

There very good pens indeed, and yes the lights are cool on them. I did not know much when I bought it, I just went off of Al B Fuct saying he loved his, and I did not want to dick around with shitty pen readers and what not.

the older models have red LEDs

the brand new models that just started shipping are the blue LEDs. nothing biggie, and its solely cosmetic but still i like the new look of blue leds

how ya liking the house and garden? im thinking of making the switch to my primary nutes.

i want much cleaning running nutes and i blv house and garden will give me that and its also made/based off of RO water so i wont have to add as many supplements i.e. cal/mag


what brand is your h2o2? that is h2o2 i see right?

what is that between the h2o2 and the aqua flakes?
