these are some of the most unique buds i've ever seen. does anyone know any sites that may shine some light on what the hell these are? my house stinks.. bad. real bad. the big buds are trimmed and hanging. the smaller ones are on a screen.

I've had that happen when my girls turned hermie early in the
flowering cycle. The production went into seeds, and many
of the buds up top suffered. Are those pods in the second
pic seeded?

nope. the top pods aren't seeded. i had to do some research and the background of the sage n sour goes as follows: thseeds crossed their s.a.g.e. plant with a sour-diesel. the sour-diesel has blueberry in its gene pool and thats where this spindly bract structure, that shoots from the tips of the buds, comes into play. blueberry is mostly of thai genetics. what i wrote is shorthand from the description of a strain called HIGHEND that has similar buds to the sage n sour. you be the judge..
also, the buds i pollenated seeded. some feminized sage n sour.. hehe

well the sage n sour is dry and in mason jars. i have another jar of popcorn buds off the rhino.. probably just roll as many joints as i can with them.. haha. i harvested the last plant and its been drying for 5 days now. i flushed for a total of 3 weeks. the crystals are amazing. should be able to sample some in a few days. the sage is a beast tho.. sticky as hell and stinks to high heaven. i'm going to try and make some honey oil tomorrow. i also started to flower 3 rhinos when the last was finished. the top of the canopy should be pretty dense this time.

here are some close ups of the white rhino. the buds are so dense.. like cauliflower.

thanks for the comments.. i had to do a little surgery this morning on the 6 clones in the aeromister. they've drooped since i moved them to the upper area and today they look horrid. so i pulled them up and the once pure white roots where tan and nasty looking. the ph was almost 8. wtf. i cleaned the container, pump and everything that goes inside. i rinsed the roots and put it all back together with fresh water and nutrients. they look better and its only been 12 hours. tonight i made my first batch of brownies. i made the cannibutter and used it in place of the wet(oil and water)stuff in a basic brownie mix. some carmel and peanut butter m&m's on top. ate 3 so far.. haha.. feeling pretty good. going to the store soon. probably going to get a hydrohut or similar indoor grow tents. if i increase my flowering area, i can really show of the sog power of the rhino.

my new grow closet. its a 48 x 48 x 78.5. the frame is decent and the tent its self is very rugged. i did cut a 1 x 4 board to run across the span to hang the light from. also upgraded to a squirrel cage fan for ventilation and moved the 6 in inline as an air-intake that loops around and blows from the bottom up. took forever to move everything. lots of room tho.

Love the setup...It looks strangely familiar...

I'm interested in the benefits you will get with
the Co2...I've been hearing some first hand
knowledge that it packs on the weight
when used right.

Take it easy on the cannibutter...It will
get ya...GL with the girls, I'll be around.:blsmoke:

thanks jonny. i swear i'm not copying you.. haha. i'm probably going to convert the flower hydro system to a dwc or an ebb n flow system. i'll draw up what i have in mind but its like the "get a harvest every 2 weeks" idea. creating 4 zones, but there will only be 3 reservoirs. 1 tank for the plants in 1-2 weeks zone, 1 tank for the plants in the 2-6 week zone and a 1 tank for the plants that are in the 6-8 week zone. the nutrient schedule doesn't really change much for the 2-6 week plants so combining them made sense. if i go dwc i just have to get a couple more totes bins, but if i go ebb n flow, i'd have to buy a whole lot of hydroton (which sucks ass to clean btw) and build a table.. ect ect.. what do you guys think? i just switched over to humboldt nutrients. started with the master a & b. going to try and get the rest of the line and really fine tune the rhino. the sage is an amazing plant, but it stinks way to much and is to much of a liability. i have seeds saved and 3 clones. i'll be ok.. haha. here are a few pics of the girls. the clones in the aero are recovering. the rhino moms are huge. over 2 foot horizontal branches filling in with lots of clone-able sub branches. the 3 girls in flower look good.. filling in the canopy with bud sites.

i thought it was time to upgrade the nutrients. started out with general hydro 3 part system. going to try out the humboldt 2 part line. i still have to draw up a new feeding chart. looks promising.. haha. time to get serious. probably cut clones in a few weeks. going to build a larger aerocloner.. maybe 20+ sites?
who knows.

whew.. that was a crazy fucking month since i last updated. don't even know where to begin... deaths in and out of my garden. lost some family members and lost 2 white rhino mothers and my aerocloner clones are dying. looked like nutrient burn and or ph fluctuation. i'll post some pics soon. i'm not to sure about the new nutrients. the solution is so dark.. like ink. i'm going to start my 2 week harvest plants soon. there is enough room for two 2x2 trays now, then in a month it will be harvest time and i'll have room to start the 3rd and 4th tray.

thanks Revolution101 and MIKE JONES. its been rough, but the worst is behind me now. i found out why my plants are FUBAR. my champ meter was broke. got a new one today and tested my res's. they were at 3.0-3.2. jesus christ!! thats bad. flushed and adjusted the tanks. the pics are terrible. out of the 3 flowering rhinos, 2 are ok, the one is bad..super crispy. i'm probably going to pull it if i don't see any improvement in a week or so. all in all i lost everything but the 3 youngest clones and the 3 girls in flower. i cleaned out the aerocloner and will cut new clones later today. i also picked up the humboldt roots and purple maxx. its a new product thats supposed to increase resin. we shall see.
