White Flies!! Question & Observation

So have had a few wf's here and there but since I can't always get to the back of my grow and there is a giant yellow sign on the back wall with the rest of the room white, once I got back there I took a few leaves from right near it and there were the many white flies that I was looking for. Seems that they not only like yellow but will live close to the yellow if possible till I guess there are to many of them. One question. How much damage can I expect with just one week left to cut? I mean there were quite a few on 4 or 5 of the back leaves and a random few here and there on the other leaves but I can count them on two hands that were not concentrated on the back. So I think I am good to wait the last 7 days but what do I know right. Thanks...

You need to get on this right away. They will kill off your entire crop. First get yellow sticky boards that hang from the ceiling. Place them just above the canopy, and put in a bunch of them. You're right, they do like yellow. Next, I have used in the past Monteray Insect Garden Spray. Its a concentrated forumula, so get a small pump sprayer, I bought one that is maybe 1/2 gallon, its perfect for foliar spraying. Anyway, follow the directions, and really soalk the top and bottom of every single inch of your plants. Repeat as directed.

I wear a green headlamp that is safe to use in a dark grow room, since I believe that spraying plants with the plants on is not good, some disagree.

I had a bad infestation a couple of years ago. Once the humidifier got full, and my room became too moist and hot, they exploded. I lost a huge part of my garden, since I was on vacation, and my grow was being watched by an inexperienced helper (family member).

The spray is safe to use on edible plants and veggies, even right up till harvest. Its all good on MJ.

I said 7 days to cut. Won't put poison or any moisture directly on buds at this stage due to the past where I saw molds from spraying late. On that note never spray with neem after your buds are big. It will cause molds to start and if you don't think so and can't see it wait until you start cutting up those beautiful, buds, hiding, molds. ! I asked what people thought about the time left and the damage that could happen in that short time??? I can cut them now and have a great harvest but 7 more days would be perfect. Thanks for the attempt but I know most of what you wrote already. Have dealt with mites, thrips, WF!!!! and have fucked it up pretty much every way one can but I learned a hell of a lot through all that stupidity. FYI Neem Triple Action will elliminate mites with only one to two sprays a week apart. But like I said if it is big bud time and you put that oily product on em late you will have mold no matter what you do. If your buds are dense like mine that is. Even if you have great ventilation and low RH, I had em mold deep in the buds where you could not see it from a late neem for mites application and my RH was kept at 40 %. So to remind, damage in last 7 days??? Will bomb the room after harvest of course.. P.

Def pick off as many of the infested leaves as you can. Even with just a week left, they will suck they life out of your girls!

Those are mites not WF's. I think one week with very few bugs I can see and none really on the buds will be fine.

No...believe me...they def were white flies. I had an invasion last year. There are prob some mites too. But what you see are white flies and larvae - lots of them. They multiply fast. Take it or leave it. Up to you. I learned already.

I'm 99% positive those are red mites and the white sacks are eggs... pretty textbook actually... just surprising to see that concentration as well as the plethora of eggs.... get some bon neem

with 1 week to harvest you may be ok if no other visible signs are found.


Keep a watch. Lady bugs can help as long as the infestation is not
out of control..

You could go on, thinking with your 99% positivity that they are red mites I had. Then, if it were your plants, you would get the honeydew...and the ants that farm the larvae around and suck the dew right outta little white fly ass....then you will get the black sooty mold from the honeydew, but by that time it is just way too late and you will be sitting there with your 99% positivity wondering wtf? I coulda sworn it was mites? Sorry dude it's white flies. And I am 100 % positive

I really dont care.. you are totally wrong... white flies are flies they have white wings.. hence the name.... you are 100% fucking wrong..... couldnt be more obvious.... if after that much growing you cant tell what the most common grow room pest is... well have fun those are white flies... these are mites

Do you not think I know my own fucking grow and the problem I already dealt with - last year? you are totally wrong... white flies are flies they have white wings.. hence the name... Do you NOT see all the little WINGED white flies in the picture? The 'red' things you see that you 'think' are mites are actually dead white fly larvae. The ones that are more yellow haven't actually died yet, so they have not changed color yet.
So please, do not try to tell me about my grow and the pest problem I had and dealt with, when obviously you don't know jack about shit. Yes, anybody can pull up info and pics off the internet like you did to try and prove their point - but did you? No. Did you go with me to the nursery? No. Did you ask the professionals? No. Did you deal with these little motherfuckers? No. So don't sit there and argue with me that what I had was mites and not white flies like I am some kind of fuck tard. Now go back to grow school and learn your bugs. OH!
