White Dust on leaves

There is a white powder or dust looking substance. Any idea what it might be? I'm at harvest time in 2-3 weeks and buds are looking good and smelling great.

Probably powdery mildew. Without a picture one can never know. Main cause is lack of air circulation in your grow space. Humidity being too high and heat are also a factor in it's development. Hope your buds haven't got any mold growing inside. Good luck.

didn't start as a circular spot. It just kinds showed up when i first noticed it was like dust. But I kind of thought it was mold. but the plant still was kind of healthy looking. Now it's probably 3 weeks from harvest. hardly any leaves they mostly dried up. This morning a sprayed it with 60-40% water milk with a teaspoon of neem oil and a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. What do you guys think about the video above of the hp bath at harvest

Have you grown before? Do you know what trichomes look like when they frost up on sugar leaves? Have you scoped these things?

just brought a 30/60x loupe and can see the trichomes most look clear like little water drops on a glass stem. I think I see some amber but still many white hairs coming from buds. I was wondering how that bath would change the smell and taste.

given u are gentle and don't burst or damage a lot of trichomes it will taste the same as long as u cure it properly. the taste and smell come from the resin within the glands

Yeah I know guys. They looked sick so I threw them a rope made of thread...lol. But the buds are solid and they smell great. I think I will harvest in a week anyway and try the peroxide dip, rinse, dry and cure. I think once I cut all those leaves off it might not be to bad.

Did the dip and there was little to no powder on the water, maybe because I had strayed the earlier(2 weeks) with the same kind of solution. So I dried for 2 days hanging and the trimmed and let dry for another day. They smelled real green like grass. Today i check them and they appeared to be really dry. So I cut the buds off and jarred them with a hydrometer now I'll wait to see what the rh is. I hate the smell do you think they will get that sweet smell back like before the dipping and drying?

I would have waited a few days cut the buds but not trim till it was dried. they could have been leaching chlorophyll
