you dont think tracking something down with gps is possible?

i mean, im just a paranoid nut case, dont listen to me....just offering a slice of reality
GPS is digital, not analog, GPS couldn't even tune into it, let alone discern what it's getting.

The best one could do is signal triangulation, but that would require multiple surveillance vans, and even then you're still going to have about an 80% chance of hitting the wrong house.

Also, X10 antenna are directional. If you don't face the receiver and transmitter antenna faces towards each other, you don't get a signal. You'll have to be RIGHT inside that beam to pick it up to begin with.

I've used X10 for a good while, I know the ins and outs of them.

Tracking things with GPS is VERY easy, however a wireless camera does not have GPS, and it also does not offer the capability of being tracked.

The only way you could locate the source of a wireless camera is familiarity with the room that is being videod...

For example, if you could somehow pick up someone elses wireless video signal, and you saw it was a court room- then you could tell the video is from the court house. However, a grow room video in any random house could be anywhere... unlesss you live in a rural area... Then its fairly easy to identify... but like Kali said, Television sets cannot view these feeds.
