Which Truth" Is Superior?

What is truth? The almighty question. What is life? What is reality? What is conscious? Is there a collective conscious? If so can that be what we call god?
I find humans very profound. We are special beings that is for sure. I do think we have a backwater theology of god now days but..We are special. We are like no other species on the planet, and known universe for that matter.

hmm... the way i see it as conscious is that you can feel being awake and be able to use your 5 senses, pretty much learn how to control your conscious/mind, instead of it controling you

even though we know certain or main experiences of everyday throughout our life, our minds like to be like a sheild and sorta block out certain experiences since our minds hate being defined. we take in those experiences n keep em which is collective conscious.

the way i look at reality is that it never stops. it just keeps going and is in constant motion. think of it as this, the universe is up to us. do good n you receive good. help others and be helped. but then in some cases karma comes in and gets you right when you wouldnt expect anything to happen..something thats complety oposite. in case you dont know what the butterfly effect is, its were one small object moved or messed up will effect your future. thats how i see reality.

you can never know what life is because there is no beginning point in a circle(circle of life) so you gotta think about what your gonna be doing now and if it will affect you in the future.

and i think truth is where you finally meet what you believe in, and see if he is real or just made up.

LOL, yeah I really wasnt asking those questions in hopes of an answer. Those are the mysterious questions we just dont know yet. These are the questions I ask myself sometimes.
Depending on who you ask, and what you ask you may always recieve a different truth, so what is truth? Can we deduce that truth is relative? If so, is there no truth at all by definition?
Is there a soul? If so is it made of mass? If so then this mass must go somewhere after death, it must transform into another form of energy. Can this energy be re-transformed into another soul?
Stoner thoughts, by a stoner.

You kind of tapped on something that led to this. The truth is relative. What you beleive is right aroudn you, but if you go up another level relatively you are wrong, however you go up another level again relatively and you are right again, and so on and so forth...
for example on the relativity here:

Life is an eternal cyclical event: Wrong we die.

Life is an eternal cyclical event: correct, we pass on genes to future generations and life repeats patterns in a cyclical way.

Life is an eternal cyclical event: Wrong, the universe eventually ends.

life is an eternal cyclical event: since there seems to be a pattern in string theory that shows that our universe even outside of time is used and its energy when it ends most likely will be used another way existing again in a new form, it is correct.

you can go on forever in this cycle. If something is true or false depends at what angle you are looking at it. Everything is relative. So which truth is the truth?

Is the human mind but the next stage of quarks for a reality more concentrated which its unification creates? As darwin said "as above, so below." and as I think, our entire existance is a ring in a chain that goes in both directions eternally.

Its the question that drives me nuts every day. Thinking of truth and reality. I agree with you. What do we beleive? Is there even a person who can answer that? were all as clueless as the next person.

I just live and let fate decide my life. I like to beleive theres a purpose for me here and when its fullfilled i will no longer be needed. Also it seems the more I pay attention to the way things happen in life its almost as if it happens the way it should. And I have weird de ja vus to, were I swear I dreamed about a moment the night before it actually happens. Almost as if foresight could be possible if i knew how to access it. Karma almost seems true to. Just my thoughts and experiences

Oh you mean Krishna, the god believed in by more human beings than any other God ever?
You sure about that, I find that hard to believe. And I just wanted say, I'm not trying to be smart, just playing a little devils advocate...

i agree with some of what earths is saying.

i too think that karma is real. i experience it all the time.

and everything always happens for a reason, even if you cant control it.

But if there is Karma, who's in control of it? If there are decisions to be made, someone has to make them, right?

hmm what a boring thread and discussion.

1st) look around you, humans are slaves *FACT*

Who controls us then in turn would define who makes us who we are, what we watch, what we read, what we see, creates who we are and if they control the evironment that creates us then who are we to ask questions if we are not logically inclined?

I don't know about all this "im still alive therefore there is a god". Of course you're still alive. You managing to survive every encounter you have ever been, no matter how sticky, is a prerequisite for you being to think anything. For every time you think you should have died, a bunch of other people did die.

How is any talk about the truth/came from/future be boring? I actually find that people who talk about this are the only ones who are interesting left. The rest of the civilization are full of robots. Would you rather talk about some stupid sports game that when it ends means nothing to your life? or perhaps tapping into our brain and doing things unimaginable?

The evidence leads to the illuminated ones as our "slave owners" so they would be considered are god then...right?

But are they some higher power physically as in a "god" or mere man like us with that extra bit of knowledge needed to control a civilization?

You realize that no human on earth in the christian religion believed that when you die and go to heaven you get to travel, get all the icecream you want, etc. Heaven 1800's and prior was believed to be where you go when youdie to work worshiping and you get NO gratification in heaven. Suddenly people think of the christian heaven in the last 100 years as where you go to have all your dreams come true. Its a new idea about as old as new agers...... Things people seem to take for truth when shown honestly are nothing but lies in many cases.
