Hi, this will be my first time growing and i plan to do so outdoors. I live in the UK so the weathers not exactly amazing. I'de like a plant thats easy to grow for a newbie. I was looking at early misty, however i cant find any feminized early misty seeds. If anyone knows were i can get these seeds please tell me were. If not does anyone know a easy to grow outdoors strain which you can get femized seeds of? Im not particulary fussed about what type of high it provides, i just want something thats easy to grow with a reasonable potency. Thanks!

It's getting a little late to start seedlings going under the sun for this summer, but being as half of England seems entirely dry for bud at the moment, it's worth a shot. Early Misty is a good choice, as well as other Early strains from Sensi Seeds, or Nirvana for the cheaper and female alternative.

Look into Greenhouse seeds Himalayan Gold (giant producer, early finish) and maybe their Big Bang. Mandala seeds Mandala #1 should also see the British summer through, resulting in either a strong sativa smoke or an even stonger purple indica (but isn't feminized).

I've heard good things (in terms of cold outdoor growing only) about the many Early Skunks, KC Brains 33/Mango and Dutch Passions Passion #1. If you can find nothing suitable, try a couple of autoflowers.

Ok great thanks. Do you think feminized early skunk would be easy enough to grow for a first timer. Will it also be able to cope with the uk climate (southern uk)?

Try pickandmix seeds to get a selection of 2 or 3 different varietes (assuming you'll be planting more than one) to see which work best. The average Skunk is renowned for being easy to grow and will most likely produce a fair crop with enough nutrient feeding, however they can certainly stink (as many strains do) and (guessing it's a covert operation) may cause a problem. Just make sure you have your planting area well chosen and secure.

Those I suggested would be worth a try, as well as JoNny Pot sMokeRs suggestion of Top 44, even look into Swiss, Canadian and other high altitude strains as they're often suited to the cold. Dr Greenthumb has a super early Iranian Indica. Apparently even Arjans Haze 2, 3 and Blueberry do well over the summer here.

Ideally, you want:
- Somewhat loose bud structure (to reduce the chance of devastating mould in flower).
- A short flowering period combined with conformation of being an outdoor strain (Northern) from the breeder.
- Security suitable and inexpensive seeds if you're inexperienced, most breeders are quite decent, despite prices (eg Mandala are great)

Keep me posted with you're decision and progress, best of luck.

Hi, thanks again for the help. Im goin to take your advice and chose some pickandmix seeds as well as the early skunk seeds. I've been looking into ak47 autoflowering from lowlife seeds. Does anyone have experience with lowlife seeds? are they good quality? Thanks

Rocklock
Sharks Breath
Cole Train
Sour Cream

Anyone know whether these will do well outdoors in the uk? Couldnt fund any info on the dna genetics site about were they grow well. Thanks

got a coletrain freebe from attitude and shes not looking so good, shes a weak seedling but who knows what will happen in the end. Got a sharks breath freebe as well and shes doing real nice so prb take alright outside. i feel like as long as u grow them to 3nodes or so they take fine in the nice sunlight

It's a risk taking those out for the summer. The Sour Cream is a sativa (I think) and not being early flowering, probably wouldn't make harvest time. The Rocklock and Sharksbreath are indicas and they may be OK, just make sure you get them off to a good start under artificial lights first. If in doubt, save them for an indoor grow, most of those are highly rated strains. Good luck with your grow

ok well i will take your advice and start the freebies indoors. I just planted my deisel ryders and early skunk seeds, however i noticed that on a couple of the seeds the roots (i had pre germinated them in) were a little fury. Is this normal or have they gone mouldy? Also whilst planting one of the seeds i accidently tore abit of the root of (i know im a newbie lol). I thought i'd plant it anyway, but do you think it will still grow?

Thanks again for all the help people, really appreciate it! This forums great!

my buddy done the Kong from Holy smoke seeds outside last year and again this year cause it flowers real quick essential for the uk ,both times i've been amazed !! check it out i took a few pics.
