Which Soil and Nutrient combination do you use?

little to no salt buildup, better taste, i wont say higher potency because variables come into play. The plant takes nutes when it needs it, unlike chem nutes when its being force fed everyday. Plus you can recycle the soil. No buying nutrients. The benefits go on and on.
sweet. thanks
I'm not sure what the difference would be between it and pure organic. For the time involved (compared to pure organic), it's definitely worth it.
I ve smoke some fully organic m39 and I was blown away.. Normally the m39 we get over here is very shitty. hydroponics I guess.
Happy Frog soil or roots organics. Roots organics nutrients as well with primordial solutions rootementary sea green and true blooms you can't go wrong
thanks man!!
Its not that im a purist as I have grown with many methods .....

but its knowing the difference
between pseudo organics and

the living symbiotic relationship of natures way of growing between plant and micro life
(with a little help from us. Making compost ect.)

2 totally different methods in my opinion

and neither are Wrong :)
love your perspective!

I read in the grow bible that secondary nutrients need to be added every other week (CaMgS) and primary nutes (NPK) every 5-7 days .. always feeding at 1/4 nutes to decrease chances of nute burn. Do All of you feed at 1/4 strength as well?
Anyways this was not my main question. I also read that the soil has got to be equal in NPK=10.10.10.. My bag of pro-mix doesn't tell the count of NPK... For my primary nutes I use Nutri+ A 5-0-2 / B 1-5-8 but I have no CaMgS nutes for the moment...
SO the big question is ; which mix of primary, secondary nutes & soil do you use to facilitate the feeding and give the proper amount of NPK,CaMgS our beloved need?????
Thanks !!!!!
Pro-Mix= peat moss and perlite... At a incredible markup.

That is one thing im sure of I fuckin hate pro mix

Imo coco is miles better

cant stand watering "dirt" that wont suck it up without a freakin wetting agent

How much perlite fo you add to your coco? I just started using coco and I add almost 50% perlite.. too much/little? I don t really know the advantages/disadvantages to have a more drainy soil but a friend told me " you want the water to fall right through"

All depends on what you want
I ran 50/50 then went too 70/30 coco perlite because I didnt like to water as much lol

So water retention will hold nutes for a while? Or synthetic feeding really is force feeding and it will take the time that it will take wether its 7-3 than 5-5?

This is semi tough yet simple to answer at the same time:)

but basically when groing in coco in a non organic way(EDIT) although I have fed my plants the botanicare "organic" line in the same ways but remember its designed as a hydro type formula

you basically feed your plants as you would a drain to waste system

but its tough to answer because all plants nutritional needs will vary

between strain

and the growing conditions

for exp. In hot conditions your plant evaps more water then it needs nutes
so you feed lightly

in cold temps your plant uses nutes like we do to stay" warm"
So they "burn more calories"

if this doesnt make sense let me know

Always many variables come into play with these kinds of questions

and id rather guide you to whats right FOR YOU AND YOUR ROOM

NOT MINE

hope this helps

yeah dude, except the "burn more calories" This means we need to feed more ? I broke my thermometer i will get a new one and i will update!!

Correct in colder climates the plants will use less water but more nutes

and the opposite for hot climate

the plant would want more water to nute ratio

basically start by feeding by the directions of the nute co.

then tweak as needed ... if you see a lil yellow on the old growth. Then add some more nutes

Letme know if this helps or you need more splaining
