whats funny is everyone is gonna give different opinions about whos got the best genetics...no one is ever gonna be on the same page..some people like other breeders more than others & some don't

Nirvana does have some good genetics but the problem is you cannot bank on receiving those genetics. Their beans are made by 'outside contractors' and they are not all the highest skilled and based on the frequency of shoddy genetics or strains other than what were ordered being delivered, in part because those who make their seeds not always being honest as to what was made or equally possibly due to error and mixing up the seeds they make the odds of receiving something other than what was ordered is not slight.

Over the years I have not seen more complaints about any other breeder/seedbank. Questionable and or shoddy genetics, low germ rates, poor growth, poor results beyond that which could be blamed on every single person who tried their genetics and were unhappy.

The worst of the worst though is I have read of and known people who were unhappy with Nirvana and who did complain, but did so in a polite manner, and Nirvana's response was to back off or they would send the customer's personal information to the person's local law enforcement agency.

I am not saying that Nirvana has ever ratted anyone out but any breeder/seedbank that would even threaten to rat someone out to save themselves the cost of a refund or replacing unsatisfactory beans is not a breeder/seedbank that I would ever consider giving a single penny of my money to.

Personally I cannot for the life of me understand how Nirvana has managed to remain in business for so long. I tend to believe that it is only because it is somewhat like AOL and it attracts all the new crowd who simply do not know any better than to pick them. That and likely they have never experienced true quality genetics and what they get from Nirvana seems good to them, and better than what they had purchased on the streets before, so they are as happy as a pig in .... well they are happy enough so they stick with Nirvana and they tell others to purchase Nirvana gear ... but to me it is sort of like having a fat babe to poke when someone first begins to play hide the weenie. It seems great and they love it but until they bag that first 101 pound hot as the fires of Hades blonde they will never realize what they are actually missing.

Puppies flock to Nirvana but the old hounds flock to Reeferman and to Shantibaba/Mr. Nice Seeds and to Sagarmatha and to Sensi Seeds, etc. because they know for sure that true quality can and will be found there each time they make a purchase.

well put. i am only on my second go, and ordered Nirvana for it. So far they are starting much better than my bagseeds, but obviously, that doesnt say much. Iam of the opinion that is as you state, the quality is almost random (mine specifically were from Sativa Seedbank, or at least so the packaging stated). i have only germed less than half of what i ordered, with much success so far, but the fear of the others not being good still lingers.
in fact, you hit it dead on with the AOL analogy. i for one chose nirvana because it seemed at the time it was a pretty good shot, and was getting better reviews than attitude who recently had the whole CC theft ordeal. i hadn't spent anywhere near the time researching ordering seeds as i did growing them (i spent 2 months on this site before even registering and still wasn't anywhere near as prepared as i thought i would be). now that i have been around the community a bit longer, ive learned a lot more about seed banks and breeders, and while i will only be able to judge on my own experience (which so far is good as per nirvana) i am considering many other options for round 3. this is not something negative about nirvana, more about just making that upgrade. for my first time, nirvana did me well (there was a problem with shipping and they corrected it) and the price was decent, but iam a more informed buyer now, and know of more places to compare both prices, and better strains.

this is basically what i was trying to get at with my previous posts, but also referring to banks.

Look no offense, but I don't you from Pablo...I'm clueless how many times you've railed against nirvana. Don't expect to wade through thousands of threads to catch up...please.

Funny thing is, I am a pup...about as pup as you can get when it comes to growing (when it comes to weed, I promise you I've smoked the finest). My old roommate grew (400w hps/mh) and I lived with him for awhile, but this is my first baby, going solo...sheeit, like a rapper.

And get this: it's CFL.

So, when you take that into account, which you have clearly described...then, I'm right on schedule. Nirvana, then Attitude and I guess my next order will be from BC Seeds...not, :).

I appreciate your post, though...I feel like I've learned something new.

But riddle me this...if attitude sells Barney and the like, then what makes the above places so much more advantageous? The price? I mean, Barney's record in the Cannabis/Indica cup speaks for itself...right? I'm just not getting it as to why the aforementioned places are optimal...the price?

I'm hopeful someday, I'll be a hound...until then...I'm just a little puppy shiting everywhere.

my reasons for choosing attitude, specifically: 7 days to get to me on the east coast.
big variety of breeders/gens at different price points. i can always get in touch with them. they accept returns if u tell them the bean is "cracked" and they reship. cool freebies. and i like their t-shirts lol.

what makes Sannies better 4days from order date to my front door.(netherlands to the midwest, usa) If that doesnt do it just go to their site and I bet you are drooling in seconds. Awsome genetics!

both places my orders came within 5-7 business days.

DNA trumps Nirvana IMO by alot. And single seed centre has cheap shipping. They replaced an order that was confiscated even though I didn't pay for Guaranteed Shipping.

I have bought 4 strains from Nirvana. Out of the 2 that came directly from Nirvana, an entire 5 pack was way immature. The replacement was just as immature. Out of ten seeds, 7 germed and 6 of the 7 are stunted and flowering slowly. The other two strains from them grew madly. The singles I received from Single Seed Centre that were Nirvana strains looked betterthan the ones directly from Nirvana. Both
