"Green Crack is a clone only strain."

"Hay all Green Crack is a cross of 89 super skunk X Unknown indica and the unknown indica is believed to be purple kush. "

"Ive tried green crack, tasted like mangoes. Good strong flavor with a Kush undertone, I'm certain there is Kushy genetics in it. We have to remember that marijuana genetics are not so cut and dry, especially since its illegal, theres a big gene mixing pool, that even the most experienced breeders don't know exactly where some genetics come from."

Urban Dictionary:

1. green crack 293 up, 16 down
A strain of cannabis popular in southern California. The genetic lineage is an 80's vintage skunk#1 crossed with a california indica. It is a variety of marijuana, and has nothing to do with crack-cocaine.

Green Crack is mostly sativa, it smells like very ripe and fresh greens, the smoke is mild and tastes of burnt greens that doesn’t get you into a cough-lock. It is a very light and subtle high, with a “airy” effect… making me feel very light, like I had a thin sheet pulled over me which made everything more clear and received things with much more detail. I packed another bowl, and I started on my nightly jog, and before i knew it I had passed the point that I had been too exhausted to pass before without even realizing it. I would say this is good for patients suffering from glaucoma, insomnia, and personally I say this is a good all around effect, that does not restrict you from anything you might want to do, very up-lifting and social high.

Just took a gravity rip of this stuff and I feel very settled and relaxed, My GI discomfort is no where to be found. I love this stuff.

.

After puffing on it a few times, Id say this strain has a dreamy, dumbed down effect. It must shut down a few receptors in your brain, this is a real autopilot stone. I asked my friend for a ride, he said sure; so we walked out to the car and i started getting into his drivers seat… HAH It has a real Muscle relaxing effect. Not the best judgement.

.

I like the high but for some reason Every time I used it, Every thing in my room looked tan.

.

Nice mellow smoke. Not recommended for smoking if you still have work to do. Took me 15 min to get an email sent because I was a distracted by shinny things.

.

Best info I can find is that it is a CA clone only strain and is a cross of Skunk #1 and a Cali Indica, or Skunk #1 X with Afgooy (or an Afgan strain) and then I have also found someone thinking it is the same strain as Mango. But the most credible, well most popular answer is the first cross I listed, said to be an old school skunk from the 80's and a dank old school cali indica. But so far, I have not found a definitive answer on this yet.

.

Green Crack was an 89 SSSC skunk#1 crossed with an unknown indica in athens ohio in about 1990. It was indeed made by cecilC. Cecil is the kind of guy who would'nt want to take credit for making it as it was just a random cross. The part about MrGreenBeans was pretty acurrate. Only mrgreenbeans was'nt living anywhere near georgia. He had people that were bringing him pounds of Green Crack aka Cush and he loved it and wanted to grow it. He kept trying to get clones from these guys and they would always say no.

Eventually for the price of $2,500 he was able to get a clone of it. Those georgia guys, mrgreenbeans and CecilC all call it Cush with a C not to be confused with Kush. I think when mrgreenbeans got the clone it was around 94.

Cecils old friends that had the Cush still he stopped talking to for reasons and was'nt in that area anymore. Another old user some of you may remember named Bunz had this plant out in southern cali that was not named but he was selling herb to snoop dog if you believe the story(but bunz was'nt one to make shit up), was selling herb to snoop dog and snoop named it green crack.

Years later, I met mrgreenbeans on a canadian IRC chat client and invited him to come chat at truestoners. He did and he and cecil kicked it off and the three of us met up and exchanged clones. At the same time or rather right before then, cecil got Bunz to send him clones of green crack and a few others and the green crack and the Cush are identicle.

Now as everyone knows I used to send out tons of clones/cuttings constantly and the green crack aka Cush was one that I sure had a big hand in spreading out. Sometimes newbies in chat bitch about me hoarding shit, but anyone who thinks that has'nt a clue. Look how many folks out there have some of my old strains now. CecilC was the same way though he was a bit paranoid about sending out and sometimes would take forever to do it, but he honestly is and was very much against hoarding, thinking that everyone should grow the best possible.

So green crack aka Cush sure got spread around a bunch. I have heard folks saying that her structure looks like old skunk#1 or super skunk, but it is not, it is what it is, just apprears very similliar, but hell let's think about it super skunk = skunk#1 x afgani, Cush/green crack = skunk#1 x indica, same basic theory of a cross. She is very fast flowering, the fastest by far that I have ever seen from the approximatly 200 strains that I have grown. She has this super sweet like sickly sweet candy fruit taste and smell. She is a good one for sure.

She is not my favorite, I find that with those types of fast sativa doms I build a fast tolerance, of course everyone else gets ripped from it. I think she is decently potent, not schrom or OG kush, but not weak by any means. Well that's the story if anyone has any questions shoot. peace"

Green Crack AKA: Cush, AKA Green Goblin,

.

In my opinion - Green Crack sucks! I have never been impressed with it. I will take a good Snocap anyday, actually I will take just about anything before Green Crack.

And from what I have read Green Crack is Just Purple Kush x Skunk #1. NOT Northern Lights #5 x Skunk #1 (that would make it Shiva Skunk or M39).

If I want purple Kush I will get purple Kush, I don't need someone's cash crop version of it.

All breeders out there - keep the skunk out from now on. We have gotten more than enough skunk genetics infused into just about everything. Enough, this is not amsterdam.

And btw the sweet skunk sux too. I have had cigarettes that were stronger.

Oh and KMK sux ass. I wouldnt smoke anything those clowns promote.

And to answer the original q - its a hybrid, part Kush part skunk.

.

Sorry but Stanley is 100% correct from what I know, could it be part nl#5, who knows.....unknown.

plisskin as for your assessment of all of these strains, it's ridiculous, any growers reading your thread are just shaking their heads, I know I am.

.

If I come across any S1 seeds I'll post the URL in this thread.

I think for a time (maybe still do) the Kottonmouth Kings smoked only Green Crack.

I haven't even seen/heard of anything even called green crack in the midwest for a while (~5 yrs). I'm sure someone on the west coast or in the midwest has a cutting in their veg room.

Green crack is a relative of skunk #1. Green crack is supposed to taste like a monster energy drink. I've had some before from a dispensary in Colorado. It tastes like monster energy drink. I thought it was called green goblin though.

You're crazy. I got my green crack a few months ago and I have not smoked anything else since.

If you are not into more cerebral sort of highs, then i understand. But, sucks??

I love the light floral smell. The first crack of a bud when breaking it up is soo nice. The high is great.

Green Crack in the vaporizer... I'm floating all day.

I could understand monster energy drink.

Something about "light" just seems to creep it's way into every description of Green Crack. Not light in a bad way, just, light. Smell, taste and affect.

ive got about a z of this now... LOVE IT, cant stop smoking it.. og kush is the strain, but also called green crack
Though they are both great smokes, OG Kush comes from the Chemdawg line (same as diesel).. so it is not related to Green Crack. I really like both though, I'm not really big on the pine-sol flavor of OG, but I do like the effect, more of a night time strain for me. I'd love to smoke some Green Crack, I love cannabis with the "sativa buzz" (head-high) so Green Crack would be a great strain for me. Super Sativas are an amazing concept but nothing, NOTHING, beats a good, long-flowering equatorial Sativa, some equatorial Sativas produce cannabinoids that do not exist in any other strains. We should all be playing with landraces so that we could truly introduce something new, instead of crosses of stuff that was new 10+ years ago, lol.. the possibilities are endless, as long as people grow, there will always be new things coming out... I mean cannabis was grown/smoked for years & years & years before Autoflowers came out (:-?), then they had to work/re-work them for years before they became even slightly narcotic.. and now they have a tremendous following (which does not necessarily include me, I love "regular" strains)... so just imagine the stuff that has yet to come... ;-)

Skunk (hybrid) variety X Indica (probably from the purple family) variety= Green Crack (most likely)

Also, why can't you find G13 in seed form anymore (not G13 hybrids)?
