Hey guys!

I'm about to start a new grow in my new DarkRoom100 tent. I'm planning to do a Scrog with 4 -5 plants. And for this run i'm considering the short flowering strains that i got from Attitude. Some of them I ordered, some of them were freebies.

Hoping to get some suggestions which 4 - 5 of these I should grow!

1. 4 x C99 - Female Seeds
2. 2 x Blue Cheese - Barney's
3. 2 x Pineapple Express - G13
4. 2 x Blueberry Gum - G13
5. 1 x Sweet Deep Grapefruit - Dinafem
6. 1 x Powerkush - Dinafem

I'm looking for genetics that have high chances of carrying the right pheno, or at least i'm looking to reduce the risk of getting a runt or a low odor pheno etc...

My personal preference at the moment is:

2 x C99 - I heard so many good things about this strain, i wanna grow 2 of them
1 or 2 x Blue Cheese - i heard it's one of the more stable Barney's strains?
1 x Sweet Deep Grapefruit - read a good review somewhere
1 x Pineapple Express or Blueberry Gum

Thanks!

That a tuff one! Im sure you will get varying opinions on this. I have been researching scrog growing and If you are not working with clones, you will not know the growth pattern. It would be a bitch to have a bunch of different plants growing differently under one screen. What kid of set up do you have? How big is your light? if youre working with a 1000k, I have seen scrogs yield 1lb under a 4x4 screen if properly trained. Some 2 pounders. Check out a book called " West Coast Masters".

i would go with the C99 and the pineapple express first, then what's left over if you find yourself dissatisfied, those other strains might have you running back to good ol' cindy.

thanks for the tip guys... i keep changing my line up. but apparently they all seem to be some good genetics. i´m just a bit paranoid because i grew strain names before that came out tasteless and odorless, made me feel like i wasted lot of effort and time. i´m sure it was the genetics cuz the plants looked healthy, good conditions, virtually they looked dank too. And other strains i grew under the same conditions were tasty and stinky.

yeah! what blunt said! good answer.

i'd go with C99 & sweet deep grapefruit if only 2 could be grown, but seeing you have all that variety, grow it out yourself so you can pick YOUR favorites. no 2 people are going to like the same strains. take blueberry gum for example, BB is "the most popular strain in the world" based on an informal study at another forum a few years ago, but i've tried it twice along with blue widow, and am just not impressed with the stony buzzes or the flavor.

growing them all out is a good plan. than you'll know for sure which 2 strains are your keepers, or you might decide you like 'em all for whatever mood you're in. it's fun trying strains even if they aren't personal favorites. you get to try something different as well as expand your experience, hopefully so you can report back on everything with good smoke reporting especially.

i'm not a big fan of trusting anyone else's recommendations myself and would rather try something first hand.

i love (joey weed's) C99, but as it's more of a clear headed & racy strain, it's best for activities and not so much for chilling out. having a quiver of different strains to pick & chose from never hurts.

Blueberry gum the most popular strain in the world?
HAHAHA.

For someone who posts bullshit non-stopped, you of all people should know not to believe everything you read on the internet.

I believe he was talking about blueberry, and blueberry gum is blueberry and bubble gum by g13 labs. The OP has a bean of bbg.
