I'm planning to do a salt nute run to use up some old Botanicare KIND I still have lying around.
I've got a coco chunks / peat / perlite mix that I've got sitting here ready to use in the setup but I was wondering what of the goodies I have lying around would still be useful. I.e. the Oyster Shell Flour, Neem, Kelp, Seabird Guano, etc. Since I wouldn't have the same biology as soil would have for breaking things down I was looking at things like any benefits for IPM (neem) or ph management (OSF) or the calcium such as when including some Dolo or Gypsum.
I'll be running one of 2 setups; Either 5 gal buckets or using my SIPs to modify them and use as a hempy or the other name I'm seeing used for them (ppk, etc).
Anything I should consider incorporating into my final mix in your opinions? I have all my soil amendments here and figure there's got to be something useful out of the choices. I guess I can always top dress later, etc. but now's my opportunity for including in the actual mix.
